soulshine i gave you much deserved rep. You seem to have the same mind as me, i also went with a 400 and vortex, that fucker is loud on full speed eh? i got a speedster speed control for mine and plan on running it at 1/2-3/4 speed. That duct muffler, where did you buy it, is it the ones you can find on most online stores?
how many speed queens would you recommend at once under a single 400? you should be able to get 250-300 grams off of a 400, i know those numbers wont be reached by me the first time, i am hoping 150-200

Thanks guys! I'm smoking this one now. An Afghan from Nirvana that is the best plant yet. The first time with the afghan I went a little long. Many brown trichomes and the high was kick-ass, the bud had a great skunk smell to it, but it was harsh to smoke. This one is sweet and skunky, much better on the lungs, and the high is as good or better than the first round with it. This is actually my third harvest of this strain and the best yet. I still like the speed queen from mandala a little better just because it's a little sweeter smelling and sweeter taste, but both have an uplifting, cerebral high, without kicking you in the ass to bad.
This plant yeilded 2.3oz dry. Grown in 2 gallon square pot, moonshine mix, fox farm nutes according to FF feeding schedule. Very low doses every other watering. The screen is 20" across.



Poker-Toker You are not kidding about the noise. Things like a jet turbine but really moves the air. I'm pulling through a can fan carbon filter, through the light and the fan exits through the muffler. I made the home-made one in this thread (click here) and it worked perfectly. I get more noise from the suction through the can fan and thats probably uneven distribution of the carbon or something. You can make this one, it was easy and cheap.

d-wreck, I checked out your thread & your closet looks fine! It's ain't what it looks like anyway, it's what comes out thats important. They got some killer shit coming out of rubbermaids over in the microgrow threads! Just let that light do the work, keep it as close as you can, and take care of the babies! You'll get some good bud out of there!

Sweet thanks for the link, i am going to need one after i move in a few weeks. Right now i got the best place to grow and i can let it whine as loud as i want lol, too bad theres no work here so i have to switch citys again. I am really debating heading out to BC on the island where weed is practically legal.
That plant you got 2.3 zips off of, that was a mom plant you flowered out? How many times you cut back the roots, just once? Its a damn work of art, i bet you can fit 6-7 of those under a single 400 at one time, even 10 with side lighting, that would be huge
