"When are they going to be done? What's taking so long?" Then comes harvest and she's all quiet for a bit. Then we start all over. Damn woman! Stay safe.

I have to admit I'm anxious too. This will never get to cure for long. I've never smoked weed I've grown, so thats gonna be cool! I'm seeing some cloudy trichs, but only just a few so far. Checking often with anticipation. The Afghan is a week behind the SQ, so it will be longer on it. Longer to dry too with the larger, denser buds, I'm sure. The stuff is so sticky! Just touching a branch to check the trichomes leaves your finger sticky. I used Cha Ching but only twice cause I thought harvest was getting close, so stopped that about a week ago. Getting only ph'd water now.

Veg chamber is swelling with the wait for these gals to finish. Gonna put a batch in to SOG while holding back a couple choice plants to scrog and lst while those are flowering. Will train two plants during the 8 week flower and hopefully have a killer harvest. All subject to change, of course!

Hopefully, next update will be a harvest one.

Hey I am just after day 50 on my LUI with the other two phenos about 3 weeks behind. Last week of ferts, flushing starting soon on the first one. I have half clear half cloudy trichs with a few amber here and there so far. Wife has been pretty cool so far. She's eyeing them budz, that's for sure.

They are fat. The 600 hps really packs on the weight. That and the BioBizz. Really happy so far with the ferts.

Once you get a few batches under your belt hopefully you will have enough to put some away and let cure real well.

Better start building a bigger room ......

Harvested the Speed Queen plant a couple days ago. Here's what she looked like.

This minus a branch for quick dry. The quick dry smells like hay, but gets you mega high!! So cool to smoke your own smoke!!!! The rest is cut up and hung up for a couple more days then will be jared for a bit of curing.

The afghan is showing some amber trichs, but just a few, here & there. Just a few more day on it, I think!! Cool!

Well, after hanging for several days I've put the speed queen buds to jars. I had them hung in the flower chanber above the grow light. Figured the warm and moving air would help. I think they dried too quickly. They are pretty dry, but we'll see if any condensation forms on the jars. Lesson learned. They do smell better, and look good and the high is great. I'm not real good at describing tastes and such but it has a spicy taste to it. I don't have a scale either, but would estimate about 1.5 oz from this plant in this state.



Today was harvest for the Nirvana Afghan as well!!! Day 56 and was seeing about 30-40% amber trichomes at 60X magnification. Checked 4-5 spots around the plant and pretty uniform. Here she is before the cut.



She was extremely skunky smelling and soon the whole house reeked of this ladies perfume! The top buds were huge!

She was such a nice plant and I'm hoping she might decide to come back and offer up a few clones for fututre buzzes, so I cut her to re-veg.


I treated her like a mom, and cut her roots back and repotted her with some new soil. Hope she will appreciate the effort and give me back some clones.
I put these buds in a different spot. Low in the flower room. Have to use the carbon control, laid out on screens. Without the heat of the lamp, but still getting some air movement, hope these will dry slower than the last batch.

More to come later and I'll tell you about this stinky afghan ASAP!!

Hey congrats! Nice crop!!

Those Afghani should be real stony.....I am planning on cutting my LUI at about 30% amber, with an early branch and a late branch to compare potencies for next time. She's days, not weeks away now and on 2nd week of flush. The blockhead huge colas are now getting a purplish hue, quite nice. The other two LUIs are 3 weeks behind and differing phenos. The one closest to finish is very Ortega, hashy/lemonskunk, squat indica which blockhead buds, the one earlier girl is Sweet Tooth leaning, stretchy, thinner leaves, more trim, more sugar, and a sugar sweet candy smell. The third seems to be a mix of the two almost 50/50 in most every way. The proof will be in the smoking! I am only planning on keeping one mom of these, but may keep two if they are that good.

Above the light would be super hot for drying, good move with moving them low, as long as the air is moving around them, they will be fine.

in my NGB cab I'm gonna continue w/ the 4 plant 1 container method (vegged in seperate containers)

...but in my closet next time I'm gonna do individual plants w/ individual scrogs like this...and prolly keep them down to just 4 under the 600 as well.

I built 2 more of the scrog screens. Same as the others but with a top that is about 9 inches longer. Fits the closet better. Had some wasted space with the others as they didn't go all the way from wall to wall. I have one speed queen (d pheno) under the closest screen and an afghan under the furthest screen.


Gonna train these gals really good while these below are in flower. Here we have 2 plants on the left LST'd and the whole rest of the room is single plants SOG. These were all my clones from the first batch and figured I'd flower them while I trained the two best candidates for scrog.


The LST ones are obviously a little further along! Already packing on the ice!

Pete! Hope your LUI is nearly done now! PM me a picture! Can't wait to hear about it. You still gonna try to reveg? Worth a shot? Yeah, the high on the SQ is good with little to no ceiling, but I seem to want more. It is a good daytime high, when you still need to get shit done, and that kind of thing. The Afghan is STRONGER, and kinda puts you on your @ss for a little while! It's good to have both! I think I will let the SQ go a little longer next time though. I jerked it as soon as I saw amber trichs at all. Probably at about 10%. I was too anxious, but it's still good. I got about the same yeild out of both plants. Enough to last till the next batch for sure, so was a sucess!

I'm still around. Just haven't been posting much. The holidays had me pretty busy and we had company for about 2 weeks during Christmas. Found out my stealth closet is pretty stealthy, because nobody knew about it! Yea! Thanks to the duct muffler and carbon scrubber, it was not noticed by anyone.

As I took too many clones and could not at first get myself to ditch any, I was scrogging those two plants, one a Speed Queen and the other an Afghan, I went ahead and flowered out the others in a SOG as an experiment. Got 3.6 oz from the SOG. Now the Afghan scog plant has been in flower for 5 weeks and the SQ for 2 weeks. I'll take some new pictures soon. Got a new camera too, so better pics coming.

Here is the SQ just before going into flower. It really flowered a bit too long waiting for space in the flower room but, what you gonna do? I have to learn to time it better.
