ECSD...

Check this out...How is this for a stretchy sativa?

This girl is a total of 13" tall from the base of the stalk to the tip of the top buds. She was vegged a week and given bushmaster  The water bottle is 500ml.

So far with the bushmaster I've seen positive results all around...

- reduced node spacing
- increased budsites
- chunkier buds
- no reduction in resin production, visual appeal or potency

I will be using bushmaster from here on out with all of my plants...:joint:

Right now I am only running my organic soil garden...Ocean forrest, bio bizz, some guano, etc...

strains I'm working through...

OGKA
ECSD
Jack Herer from sensi
hawian indica from sensi
black domina from sensi
Rox from Paradise
blockhead f2 freebie from gypsy
Heavens Horn from Weeweeman

as for the ogka...this is my first go around with her. I will most definately be doing a smoke report when she is cured up nicely. I will update my signiture when I do :joint:

Thanks for the kudos GP  I am still in the research phase of the TC...I might hit you up for some info when I get a bit further into my exploration. Keep dancin

mycorrhizal madness!!

mycorrhizal madness!!

I was doing some routine maintenance on some moms and ran across some shoomage...the fungus is among us.

I am a big fan of organically raised cannabis. I find the tastes, smells, and smokes superior to chemical or hydro grown herbs.

When you have innoculated media and just the right conditions you get shrooms...

May the fungus be with you...

fungus of life!!!! I wonder if that is from the "ecto-mycorrhizae" rather than the "endo-mycorrhizae"....never seen that before, thanks kokua!!!

:ying: kind regards from your dancin' pal the guineapig :ying:

PH you are too kind really...I appreciate the words of encouragement.

I don't know gp ? I suppose the only way to really tell is to take it to a mycologist to test. I have read several places that endomycorrizae benefits most fruits, vegetables, and ornamentals like fruit trees, peppers, berries, legumes, corn, roses and bulbs. Ectomycorrizae benefits most shrubs and trees like Firs, Pines, Spruce, Oaks, Eucalyptus, Hemlock, Poplar, and Walnuts. According to this info...I would say that cannabis would benefit mostly from the relationship with the endomycorrizae. I am not sure of the chemistry or reason behind why ecto's prefer certain plants and endo's prefer certain plants. Probably the same reason some plants prefer high bacteria content in the soil and some prefer high fungi content.

I have come to the realization that I don't know half as much about plant science / soil science as I thought I did. I don't think any of us do. There is way more going on than meets the eye. Some say food is food, nitrogen is nitrogen...plants can't tell the difference between salt derived nutrition and naturally derived nutrition. I say hogwash... It is just like humans to think we know it all. If we can't see it with our own two eyes than it doesn't exist...well the hubble telescope and electron microscope should teach us different.

There are over one billion living thriving organisms in one handfull of healthy earth. ONE BILLION. And over a football fields lengh of fungal hypae. If those numbers don't impress you...then you should just turn the page now. :joint:

I sampled a lower branch that was taken at at 60 days...and boy is she potent. I am not sure about the taste, but the potency is great. It's a nice potent too...something I can enjoy without paranoia or raciness, very pleasurable :joint:

The abusive cut might not be the real deal...hell its not even a real kush, but it cetainly is worthy of elite status. Very nice herb indeed  yes:

I've still got the plants going...today is day 66 and I am still seeing cloudy with the occational clear. The moment I see amber they are commig down. :)

Just a little update for those that are interested...the tissue cultures are doing great! As of yesterday it looked like we have had 0% contamination! I am heading out of town for a few weeks...so by the time I return we should have some little plantlets that are ready to come out of culture and ready to go into rockwool. I will make sure and snap some pics when they are ready. Now that I have gone through the process a few times I will document as I go next time around. Tissue culture is easy...
