a few comment from a Yahoo article titled:

"N. Korea calls Obama 'monkey' in hacking row"

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea called President Barack Obama "a monkey" and blamed the U.S. on Saturday for shutting down its Internet amid the hacking row over the comedy "The Interview."

================================

On Saturday, the North's powerful National Defense Commission, the country's top governing body led by Kim, said that Obama was behind the release of "The Interview." It described the movie as illegal, dishonest and reactionary.

"Obama always goes reckless in words and deeds like a monkey in a tropical forest," an unidentified spokesman at the commission's Policy Department said in a statement carried by the official Korean Central News Agency.

It wasn't the first time North Korea has used crude insults against Obama and other top U.S. and South Korean officials. Earlier this year, the North called U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry a wolf with a "hideous" lantern jaw and South Korean President Park Geun-hye a prostitute. In May, the North's news agency published a dispatch saying Obama has the "shape of a monkey."

were you stoned while watching???

I was higher than a Martian fart  I just don't like Franco or Rogan so no amount of herb was going to make me love the movie. I did laugh a few times, don't get me wrong, it just wasn't worth the hype at all and I suspect Sony knew that and had a hand in orchestrating this entire thing...

ain't funny? well shucks, mebbe his motive isn't really comedy *shrug*

aaaaaand *facepalm*

ya know, when i want to laugh, one of the considerations i have is that i won't feel rottan about it afterwards, so i try not to laugh at shameful things, like manipulative propaganda or other forms of slander, people with disabilities et c. eh??!?!?! eh?!?!?!?!

North Korea did not hack Sony. That's what I've tried to patiently explain to people ever since this "story" broke, only to be met with snarling sarcasm about "tinfoil hats" and such. Sony LEAKED all this data, in a publicity stunt for themselves and in conjunction with the U.S. government for propaganda purposes against North Korea.

Ever notice how the news media are always blaming Russia/China/Iran/North Korea/Syria for something? Every week it's some new petty item they are being accused of, interspersed with the occasional "huge atrocity" like the "Sony hack."

That's because our piece of shit government and the assholes who control them are trying to start WW3, and so they use the press to demonize certain countries and make them out to be the worst most backwards and evil places ever. And people believe it, because they have been lied to their entire lives and would not know the truth if it walked up them, dropped its pants, and slapped them around with its 12" cock until their eyeballs bled.

This is the truth, and everything else is bullshit. Frame it and hang it on your wall.

/thread

(didn't bother reading it)

I'm not going to say I sign off 100% on every single word in this post but I'm with you on Sony playing a big part in this, especially after thinking about it a bit more and seeing reactions after they released it (after initially saying they would release it for free, if I recall correctly...)

:tiphat:

It's free because the US government wants people to see it, and because Sony is getting paid in other ways behind the scenes. Maybe cash money, or maybe in governmental/legislative favors.

These fuckers are corrupt. Sony is one of the most corrupt corporations of them all. The computer nerds were some of the first people to question Sony's innocence in all this, considering all the times those bastards have fucked us over before. For example the time they purposely infected thousands of their customers' computers with a trojan (virus, malware) from an audio CD that prevented the computer from playing any other CDs. Or the time they pushed out a firmware update for the PS3 which disabled the ability to install Linux (removed the "OtherOS" feature) and fucked over everyone's Linux install. These people are assholes. They are not above making some kind of sleazy backdoor deal with the US government to get themselves special favors.

Where did you find it for free? I paid $6 or $7 to rent it for 48 hours and it was over $15 to buy it outright anywhere I looked online. I'm usually pretty savvy with these things, so I'm curious if you actually got it for free or if you read that they were giving it out for free earlier like I did and just assumed that was actually true.
