When I got a new EC meter a few weeks back and stuck it in the saucer that catches the run off it was off the meter that went to 3.6 EC!

I go one cap for seedlings, two caps for growing and heading from a 5l budright container.
Check PH occasionally especially after rain.

Hardly ever have a problem or need addities like Cal Mag
