Soil vs. Hydro

Haha, my hydro has been good-great. I have also smoked countless hydro nuggets that my friends grew. The fact is none of them tasted great all the way to the ash. All the best herb I have smoked has been organic soil and properly done outdoor organic. You can't beat a bud that had everything it could of ever wanted during the grow. I like when I can pick up a half burned bowl and it still tastes like it did when it is green.

If you talk shit, call names, or show negativity, at least do so with some facts, or instances behind it. See, your post was one of the stupidest posts I have ever read mainly because there is a huge difference between plants grown in mineral fertilizers and plants grown with organic methods. My 8 years of growing isn't that much, but damn, I can tell the difference between a hydro bud and an organic one from a mile away.

i like your points, most people see salt parched crumbly green hyro and think wow that is some dank, hydro erb has a look to it, organic erb is stronger, longer high and taste richer, smoother i wouldnt necessarily say. i personally dont much care what people think, hyro erb is fun also, just expect to need to smoke more to stay high as long, shits missing micro nutes beyond what advanced n gh is telling u.

i think its good to grow both methods, just the accuracy n control of running hydro will teach u alot about growing but in the end all that watering, nutes, time, dicking around for a product that isnt as good isnt something i cant get excited over any more.

Keep your chemicals and I'll just stick to nature while we are still here to see it. I don't care what tastes better or finishes faster.

Have you grown soil vs hydro side by side? If not your opinion is fucking useless.

And even if you have grown side by side who even says you know how to use hydro properly?? Ive seen epic strains come out of a hydro setup that were weaker than bagseed. Why? because hydro isnt as easy as soil and the guy fucked it up completely. I assume that if you ever did grow hydro, you screwed it up and now carry the notion that soil is better.

As someone who is a novice grower i look to my superiors for answers to such questions. I personally tested 2 strains that were both grown side to side in organic soil/organic nutes vs chemical nutes/dwc. (Done by a grower with 16 years experience) And boy was that dwc dialed in. MASSIVE heads.

My opinion:
*The organic soil weed tasted better.
*Both weeds were as powerful and kept me high basically the same amount of time. The soil weed definitely didnt keep me high for longer as iwannatokeandtalkcrap seems to think.

The facts:
*The dwc yielded much more.

So besides flavour i noticed nothing that would make me want to accept the lower yields from soil.

Also just so you know what kind of intellect "iwannatokeandlie" is, read this little gem of a quote:

What an idiot.

Does it feel good to be a nasty jerk ?
Sorry, that was mean. I'm sure you have made many worthwhile contributions here, I just have not seen them.:dunno:
Try this;
Print out this page.
Put it somewhere safe, where nobody will ever find it (be creative here).
Then, when you grow up, re-read it.
If you still like what you have written, well, you probably are a jerk.
However, there's hope for everybody!:blowbubbles:

SD:tiphat:

P.S. I do like your Voltaire quote, this is why I have hope.:jump:

I dont like it but when its necessary its necessary. Ive read a few threads where this idiot has been spreading rubbish so had to go on the offensive.

Ive never been this rude to anyone else in the forum and dont intend to in the future but hey you never know.

Regards

p.s i like your Thomas Paine quote.

u write like a pure dickhead, not a mean person but a idiot, news flash baffoon your on my ignore list, i dont talk to idiots online, youll have to wait untill someone click n paste your verbal shwag before i see it again, all the best..........oh an i think hydro is smoother, atleast when done properly which apparently your guys (experts) dont do yet, bu bye n pucker up :moon:

You might have found my opinion idiotic but i doubt the actual growers on here share your thinking. Hence your massive ignore list and numerous people coming forward declaring you to be a fool.

Some even call you a troll.

"oh an i think hydro is smoother, atleast when done properly which apparently your guys (experts) dont do yet"

Dont know why you said this considering nothing in my post was related to smoothness, unless you are a troll...

Nah probably just a sad little someone grasping at straws.

I had to laugh when i read your post in a rubbermaid thread advocating an intake fan and passive exhaust over an exhaust fan and passive intake.

Fucking knob.

As far as i know you can use organic nutes in a hydro setup so you can have organic hydro. I think organic nutes bring problems in a hydro setup eg i know coco doesnt like organic nutes from reading online but i could be wrong.

I have always used GH for ease and cleanliness. I tried an organic product once, some kind of fishy kelp thing, didnt enjoy the odour or the mess. So that lasted a couple days before going back to chem nutes. I would only use organic nutes if i was growing outdoor in soil. (Would never use soil indoor, i enjoy the cleanliness of a hydro operation.)

Just wanted to add this quote talking about "iwannatokeandpretend":

You know, I've been on Canna forums for years - OG and CW before IC - and have never used the ignore function. Actually, not on any forum, ever. I doubt many people have. After all, most of us come here for information and a sense of community.

There has to be a problem, when one takes the time to include an ignore message (an oxymoron in every way imaginable, I know) right under his username. Here's an example of a response by an experienced grower to some of his advice posted yesterday:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showpost.php?p=4212852&postcount=8

There are a few issues associated with someone pretending to be a grower, but I'll list the major two:

1. He doesn't know WTF he's talking about. Imagine some taking his advice regarding coco, as above. These postings dilute the pool of information for no reason, whatsoever, other than making an individual feel better about himself. His personal sense of well-being is not our problem, but his bullshit posted in the name of sincerity is.

2. We all put something on the line to do this. For many, it includes their freedom. Here's someone who's pretending to be such an individual, while living in a world free of the negative constrains we all encounter on a daily bases. It's insulting.

...anytime.

Simon

I have much respect for this simon fellow.

Or anyone else that takes offense to "iwannatokensuckatlife"s drivel.
