Last weekend I went to a festival to see george clinton, and met a group of them. The next morning I was still tripping face and saw them again and went back to there camp to do some nitrous. And the people were cool and all but I definately felt kinda uncomfortable around them. I dont know why I just was getting bad vibes, it could be because I was tripping and all but I dont know. They were all living in this beatdown church bus, and selling all of these edibles. They kinda reminded me of those street kids on that msnbc special if you guys seen it.

This will be My 1st Rainbow gathering. I planned to make it by the 1st, but car troubles are setting Me back a couple daze. I plan to help set up where ever I am needed. Then settle into a routine. I hope to work in a kitchen feeding the hungry unprepared.

I think I am prepared. I will be outfitted nicely, as to My camping gear, and am bringing a couple cases of MRE's just in case.

Any Family needing a ride from Iowa, I think I will have room for 1 Person and pack.

What is that Rainbow People thing? Is it a commune? Or are they moving around the US etc. Sounds interesting. Always been fascinated by the hippie/commune thing. Probably only in the US it still has a chance. Can you imagine tryin to do that in Germany or the UK?! "do you have a license, permit, paid tax, filled in the forms for that tent" ?....We live in an increasingly statist society in Europe where the idea of individual liberty is increasingly marginalised. I have had great experiences with the rainbows I know, do a local reunion/gathering in upstate NY most every summer

I find almost any fringe group gets stigmatized and sometimes for justifiable reasons but I always find these groups tend to have people that very much reciprocate the vibe you put out.

Do a search, and You will find Rainbow Family in Europe. It is all about Peace N LoVe. There are ALL kinds there though. No way I can get you up to speed, just hit Youtube. Lots of videos there. I am ona Journey of discovery. All I know for certain,,,, Is that I will be there to get in where I fit in. I plan to be of Service. What ever form that takes,,,,

the Rainbows are on the Choccolocco WMA in east-central Alabama every spring when we go down to turkey hunt. last summer they were on Holston Mountain outside of Bristol, Tennessee. they always have a volunteer clean-up crew that stays behind after the horde moves out...LOL! too old to run with them nowadays, but i sure wish i could...

I am the kind of human being that plays real nice with others, insane amount of empathy and genuine regard for others so somehow I get the good side of people I meet.

Alot of people either love or hate rainbows, and like all segments of society there are reports of good ones and bad ones but as said above I find you tend to "reap what you sow" in regards to what you put out and what you get back from other people.

At least that is how it works for me. Easier to do with strangers sometimes than with people I am connected to and fucking makes for havoc when I am having a bad day I start getting a little mouthy.

I general do very well with outcast's and all sorts. I too am very empathetic, I am going on this journey to find a way to keep the part of Me that keeps Me in conflict(EGO) in check, or ,,, shit Man I just got some shit to work out that aint getting done where I am at. I aint into astrology real big or nuttin. However I am a Pieces born on the 18 of March. I am the typical compassionate, empathetic Pieces, with Way to much Aries in Me. This FIRE keeps Me in constant conflict with My inner healer, It gives Me a great since of indignation to the injustices that I see, then I feel the NEED to right shit. Pretty arrogant of Me to think That I can fix it. Like I said EGO???
This is why I am going to seed camp. I plan to serve.
I will be fine talking World Peace, feeding the poor, sustainable living, But I Will simply have to walk away from any Simpleton that tries to drag Me into the Republican/Democrat shit. that will show Me the mindset I am trying to avoid.
I am still an American, and I still believe in Our Constitution, and Bill of Rights.
If any of These Folks start with Anarchy, and Peace, in the same breath, I will have to explain that You CAN NOT HAVE BOTH!!! A True Anarchist will steal all You shit if You don't fight for it. I am going with an open heart, and I know that I am strong enough to stay away from the Folks that will illicit Old reactions.
