looks like china has a ufo of its own

China is getting ready to take down an unidentified object spotted flying over waters near the port city of Qingdao, The Paper reported.

An employee at the marine development authority of Qingdao’s Jimo district said “relevant authorities” are preparing to bring down the object, the report said. The employee was not informed what the object was.

some updated info
seems the objects in question are being called probable balloons behind closed doors
could be balloons though cylinders are an odd shape
but the size, i.e. the size of car - small for a balloon that gets up to 40000 feet
and they are describing the debris field as significant in size
that doesn't sound right for balloon of such a size
but info is often inconsistent as it leaks out

Sorry gang. Some friends were coming to visit and they forgot to cloak just before entry.

But don't worry, I have all the answers you're looking for right here..... just look into this flashy thingy I'm holding in my hand.

FLASH

It was just a balloon, not a spaceship. Aliens do not exist. You love lemon meringue pie.

the latest shoot down, from AP

WASHINGTON (AP) — US officials: Unidentified object shot down over Lake Huron Sunday, after Alaska, Canada downings.
The bulk of any news sources' articles, often stating something to the effect of, "Everything We Know Right Now About the UFOs" is deflatingly empty. Like getting a box for your birthday and opening it up to find a card or pair of cotton socks inside.

Weather balloons come in various sizes, too. They're not all gargantuan.

Maybe it's a kid or group of kids with those vaccum-output-inflated animated characters we see outside used car dealerships and tax filing businesses, and they've sealed up the holes, inflating them with some sort of inert gas that functions better than helium at high altituides?

Imagine the $millions that governments could be brought to spend on such a prank?

they're shooting them for a reason, and I don't like what I suspect
a threat of biologicals is unfortunately real, hopefully not actually real

Don't jump to conclusions. Probably private aircraft
I think right now folks are just playing with possibilities; some of us more seriously than others. With the possible exception of those who seem invested in it all being lies.

"LIES!!! LIES!!! LIES, I tell YOU!!" :)

But for a sense of balance and fair play in all things, 'we' spy on others' countries routinely, and have for years. We strut our war ships and other military forces/implements on the door-steps of others' countries/water boundaries, and often cry foul when they do the same in return.

Nationalism and other diseases of the mind and spirit reinforce this double-standard and hypocrisy.

We permit other nations 12 miles of ocean water as a boundary, but often claim 200 miles for ourselves.

Who knows what these are? Maybe benign, maybe not, maybe inquisitive spy stuff?

For all the Bubbas who like to shoot at traffic and other road signs, if it weren't for them being at 40,000+ feet altitude, it wouldn't even be a news item, most likely. Just another object peppered by a drunk with enough left-over beer money for ammunition.

I -do- know that making a habit of walking back and forth in front of another's home with your hand on a firearm, at the ready, for hours on end, is a good way to provoke negative outcomes. Apparently governments, in all of their worldly wisdom, haven't quite yet realized this generalized, analogous/metaphorical fact.

You got that right , can't trust anything.the government, the media, it stinks to high heaven
I'm not always in that camp. Very few things in life are 100%. (Maybe death and taxes).

All of humanity has told a lie at some point. Some make a habit of it. Though sometimes for different reasons.

We simply don't know what the cause or purpose of these things is yet. (*One set of videos and pics over Hawaii is stated to be relative to a Space-X satellite launch the other day).

And the conflicting reports from the fighter pilots and others don't help to decrease the skepticism, speculaton, and production of explanations that are often lacking in any real foundation.
