Lol to be honest, I'm like totally going through stages. On one hand, I find this absolutely hilarious. Simply because 1)I know it's not worth going to jail over, and 2) I still haven't choppped. Why? Because dammit, I want my fucking weed.

What I keep telling everyone is I JUST bought these locks earlier tonight.. err.. last night (well it's still "LATE" for me!). She doesn't have a key.'

Edit - @ Kush, didn't see your post. Not in Florida. Indiana. Merr, I know they want to see each room/closet. But when the real estate lady called we TOLD her it wasn't possible. I don't think she ever contacted my landlord and told her? Just gonna run the same story basically. Tell her she's welcome to see the rest, and we'll call her when our roommate comes back? Tell her we thought the real estate lady let her know? Gonna be acting like I'm not expecting her. She NEVER did let me know personally, and I DID talk to a real estate agent that said not to worry about it if we can't get the rooms open 'cuz that's what they need to do? It's ridiculous that she's even coming over at this time. But that's fine, I didn't know she was coming? Dude I'll be answering the door in my boxers, with a surprised sleeping look on my face :)

I just went through this cuz my wife and I just bought a house and the landlord wanted to show the place when we were moving and my plants were in 2 areas so I told him I was working on something classified aka proprietary info for my business and no one can see it, so I need advanced warning, but when it comes down to it they can wait til your lease is up if you are moving....I think you are straight with the doors locked, I would call her and tell her 2 of the rooms are locked so what is the point of showing someone the livingroom and kitchen? Best of luck to ya...

Get the bacon going
Be dressed in the skimpiest, gayest pair of shorts you have and nothing else(make them uncomfortable)

The roommates rooms are locked because they are gone, period.

Start looking for someplace to move after this grow is over, otherwise this will just keep happening.

You could always say F off, your not coming over to show shit, and this is my last month here, change locks, finish grow, bail.

Yeah, I did tell the real estate lady that they could come BUT there are 2 rooms that are locked. That leaves 1 bedroom, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, basement, etc.

Nothing I'm worried about though. My main concern is "Get the key, we're coming back" BECAUSE I have 2 months of flowering left. 3 months left at this place total. We move out at the end of August. I just don't wanna chop?

Ok, since your moving anyway, let her show it today, but act put out and inconvenienced by it.
Next time she calls for a viewing say no, your not ok with her trooping people through your place any old time she feels like.
Your out in August and she can show it all she wants after that, but until then, F off.
What can she do?
Evict you?
By the time it's effective your already moved out anyway.

She gets in today and never again.

If the landlord is giving viewings its most likely because they are selling the place so they are going to want to see everything.
You can argue the lack of prior notice but the bottom line is they can come in anytime they want, they own it.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.

Peace...

That really sucks but you shouldn't be growing if the house is on the market. Buyers like to check out all the rooms so it's just a matter of time before someone wants to see the office. If I were in your position I would tell your landlord that you like your privacy and this is not what you expected and work on terminating your lease for those reasons and find your new spot. With all the forclosures on the market just go out and buy your own house so you don't have to worry about this type of bullshit. Good luck!

Sure they can come over anytime they like, but that doesn't mean he has to let them in, he's renting that property and he has some rights, If he says your not coming in and that's it, there is very little she can do about it but evict him.
She can't call the cops and have them force him to let her in, it doesn't work like that.
Even if he changed the locks and stopped paying today the only thing she can do is file an eviction notice.
At the evict date on the notice she can call the cops and have him tossed if he's still there, but not before it.
She can make a lot of noise and threats, but that's all it is, empty noise, she can't do shit without going through the proper channels, and filing an eviction

dude sounds like you are thinking wayyyy tooo much about it and acting goofy about it now... .staying up all night? for what? you are just ASKING to cause a scene...all low on sleep and shit- when you lack sleep, your brain does some crazy shit...

you would be better off just locking your damn doors, and leaving the house... dont even stay at the house....

i dont even know you and I can see you just acting qwerky and causing suspicion ...

lock the damn doors and leave the damn house when they will be there...

ive looked at MANY homes that were for sale, and you wouldn't believe how many of them were locked when I tried to get in...its just one big waste of time for the realtor and the potential buyer.... chances are that they won't come back - especcially if there are a bunch of other homes for sale in your area that they can look at...

trust me

another thing to ponder.... out of the hundreds or so homes that I looked at, NEVER ONCE, was the owner of the house there to walk around with the realtor... realtors mean nothing...

if you wanna read about someone who had a nice interaction with the realtor, take a read at "krunchbubble's" grow thread... he head numerous rooms full of many many plants inside of a nice million dollar plus home, and a couple times he had to lock the doors and tell the owner and real estatate agent what was up.... the dude is still around and not locked up... in fact, he even visited this thread....

Viewing is bad news. They generally want to show a potential tenant or new owner the entire place top to bottom, including all of the bedrooms.
