Skywalker OG

I will lower my lights as much as possible. Now to figure out how to feed them. I have a Cinx I love and for a while couldn't figure it out, ends up it is a very light feeder. May be the case with the OG's. Also have a Cornbread and 501st from RareDankness....all expressing similar growth and nutrient imbalance issues.I also think they would do better in our system with 16 per table vs 12.

I've been runner nag sky walker og for a couple years now an it's not a producer but it tastes so good just makes my mouth water after a hit. An it will make my whole house smell with just a couple little buds.

What sort of PPM do you guys run with OG? Are they really magnesium hungry or is that a myth? The ONLY plants I currently have giving me any issues are all OG crosses.

I've found that real og cuts (every single one I've ran) are overly branch to the point of being out of control. If your skywalker isn't branching I'd doubt it's legitimacy. I've grown verified sfv, and ghost, my homeboy has verified tahoe, and another buddy runs the verified larry. All of em are tall, lanky, branchy bitches. I have to pinch and bend every strain in my arsenal except my sfv and gg#4, they just don't need it, they throw out mad branches almost right away.

I have an OGKB that I am sure about and it is super branchy. Very branchy inside the canopy. The alleged Skywalker has large nodes but I wouldn't call it branchy. Again, every persons idea of "branchy" will vary. I've seen lots of OG grows of the ten million "versions" and never thought of them as branchy - surely some of these were legit? When I think of branchy I think of way to much inner growth and understory to the point that it has to be skirted hard to not get a lot of shatter matter. I'll try to take a pic of the mom.

The OGs I've been running can be happy and yield well with average feeding, I like them to start putting on a fade around week 7.
The ones I've given more additional ppm to only respond by growing darker tougher foliage, but the yield isn't higher based on feeding alone. They don't prefer high N in my opinion, even though it looks nice later in flowering.

When I say branchy, I mean lower branches will keep up with the dominant top in veg. I have a six inch tall sfv clone that has four branches all level with the top growth, all other strains I have tend to have more top dominance. The sfv cut I have requires no pinching to maintain an even canopy of tops nicely bushed out.

This is an sfv cut with about three weeks of veg, with absolutely no training or pinching at all. The true skywalker and the sfv should veg pretty much identically, as they're both regarded to be the more sativa dominant og's

For claritys sake, what you describe as branchy, I would call candelabra or minorah type branching.

I grew a Goji OG Kush F2 and I would describe it's growth exactly as above... like a candelabra...

The term "branchy" used alone means every node throws another branch, imo.

Right on. My garlic headband does that. To the point it's annoying, you gotta lollipop it at flip, and again at week one and two. I like the stretchy gals with the menorah structure. They veg crazy quick

scrog....or even vertical scrog on walls with vert light....or even with other plants in middle with small vert and one in a wide hood

or SOG with more numbers in the space since usually not side brancy
