So, here's a story,
My friend's plant (my own random genetics mix as previously mentioned)
IMG_20231103_181546_edit_1344206677106866.jpg
collapsed under the weight of the buds, as he was moving the pots, so he gave me one of the spears from his trimmings.

They're obviously too young,

but I nuked a bud (sacrilege! I know, but necessary evil to gauge strength)

I will take good care of this baby (no, I will not nuke this one)
Smell none. Not until you sick your nose in it, then its herbal with a medowy feel to it
If I do this right I'm going to get a well cured gram by Christmas.

Hello my fellow cannagraphers, welcome to a new Saturday update.
Plants are now 6 weeks 12/12 from seed. Nutrients are moving towards higher K+ concentrations and soil humidity going down, but still well supplemented as to not dry out.
Temperatures are fluctuating between 27°C daytime and 20°C nighttime.
I just wanted to share some observed developments first from the "Kush" in the middle

Then the Destroyer in the back, I find this antithesis extremely fascinating, it seems like the Destroyer is indifferent to the type of light you expose it to, it just wants to grow (that's my F3 y'all!)

And to finish, the DD, double D, Destroyer x Durban F1 I'm loving the color and the tropical leaflet droop

To finish

To those that came to see some "skunk" I'm sorry, but this cross between haze and skunk is the only one that showed up from the random mix.

I still can't get over the fact that this is not a Durban, but it looks like one. The terpene profile is unmistakably Destroyer (though lighter on the nose than the pureblooded) , the width of the fan leaves too is dictated by what I observed to be Destroyer growth patterns. Except that it looks an awful lot like it's a Durban, starting from the pigmentation, having thinner leaflets than Destroyer, fuzzier pistils and more elongated calyxes; which I will be able to showcase in more detail as the plants grow in the future.

I'm truly fascinated by how the Destroyer motherline absorbed the fatherline characteristics.

Og wow! Brilliant idea with the Pinguicula! How many are you growing? Are they tactically placed?
I keep a couple in my grow cupboard (90cm x 180cm footprint) in small pots of peat/perlite, they just need a little pure water from the dehumidifier and are v happy sitting in the shade of the cannabis! Have had them for a few years now - they need splitting up and repotting every now and then. I've also passed some on to friends who grow - they are so much better than yellow plastic sticky traps.

Day 42 (6 weeks from planting)
My own personal jungle😁. The rhubarb I call Destroyer in the back grew into the light and burned itself, I think I'll call it Ikaros from now on, so I had to train it, I'm using pipe cleaners, if you have an artist friend, their your best friend.

TIL: don't use an analog timer and a smart plug when changing daylight saving... I thought I was running at 11/13 now. But it turns out, due to daylight saving changing automatically with my phone time I have been back to 12/12. And for the love of me I couldnt figure out why the maturing was so slow...
But now I'm on 11/13 and I will soon be adding (spoiler alert) supplemental lighting (other than the old UFO).
