Ya it totally sucks when someone spends several years study`n his/her craft,
then that "someone" puts together a well informed/documented plan, and then implements
said plan to total fruition, hardly worthy of reading... and talk about boring,:coffee: !
that's my... :2cents:

:yeahthats  Ha! Thanks ~sprout - I wasn't sure about the context, so I just kind of meh'd it, .. but, ..

Well, shit, either way, I'm flattered!

Easy! Such a treat to have your company!

We are definitely starting the new year off with a BANG, per always! Gotst me plenty of jars - more jars than I have patience, at the moment.

The chicken poo is kind of an ongoing curiosity.. I [sort of] have access to some fresh, and every now and again it pops up in my brain, .. Funny thing is I hadn't even thought of it since those few posts way back when, .. Until now. :)

Silver - Just a quick note on chicken shit. First it needs to be well composted prior to use (1 year is considered sufficent), or it will burn the fuck out of your plants. However after it's composted it's an awesome source of nitrogen and to a less degree P,K,Ca, and possibly smaller amounts of trace minerals. I use it as a big part of my outdoor soil mix.

Hey AS! Good to see you here man :tiphat:

The BS 2.2 seems .. Mm.. Decent, I suppose.. Not a keeper, I don't think. She's at day 60 and she's tossing a few nanners here'n there, .. She looks to be rounding the corner, but it may come down to a race between ripeness and too many nanners - whichever come first..

She smells good - fruity, but not as blueberry jam-ish as I'd like..

All good - of 4 beans I started, I got one female (DOH!). I didn't take any cuts (fine by me, re: nanners/stability), so once this comes down, that'll be it for me (for now!). It'll be good to have some blue to puff on, for sure..

Good stuff _D - it's more like a passing fancy, .. My sister keeps chickens, and every time I'm out there, it crosses my brain, .. I get home, forget about it.. :)

Had a BS 2.2 hermie on me in veg a few years back. Naturally it happened while I was gone, and as a result massively pollenated an entire 8 light room :moon:.

 :yeahthats

My freebies with those packs were some Blubonic - and I was able to germ 0/5 :chin:

I got these BS2.2's last year on the 420 sale - something like 3 packs for the price of 2, something like that? Or maybe 3 for 1? I think it came to $60 for three packs..

Soooo, not bad, in that regard, but I'm not terribly optimistic that the lone expression I was able to grow out seems fairly unstable.. :dunno:

First off who you calling chicken shit?

Second they are most likely to busy burning there own bud after harvest. And I would assume you will not be composting them. That would be illegal and this is not the place to post illegal activities.

Thanks wdi! The nanners aren't much of a "real" problem, in the sense that we're close enough to the finish line that I don't think they'll swell'n pop before I harvest, .. I think.. But that having been said, it's something I need to keep my eye on - which is kind of a nuisance in itself. :tumbleweed:

The ND is a long-term deal in this garden, for sure.. Starting my fourth run with her with a big tree - probably about 30-32" on day 0. :D

All props to brotha jbg29 for the creation  - I just give her some room to run around!

Dammit. Now for a topic that might be as divisive as , .. Well, anyway.

So's I gotst some trim. Fixin'a have even more.

Whassa hawaiian to do?!

Last run's trim got turned into BHO. And :peek: TBH, I wasn't overwhelmingly impressed with it, .. No doubt a lot of it could've been user error, but damn does it seem like a chore. .. A chore to make, and a chore to burn..

(Surely, it's a matter of having the right tool for the job, Beavis. But .. Just not overly stoked)

In my heart of hearts, my favorite will always be dry sift, .. But, no screen! :dunno:

The shop down the road sells screens that fit atop a 5 gallon bucket, and it was suggested to me that I just make some dry ice hash, .. ? I'm not sure of the exact size on the screen, ..

So, I'm torn, .. Do I just make more BHO 'cause I've got the fixin's? Though it doesn't get me too excited, .. I'd love to hear anyone's input/experience on the dry ice extract..

I think the dry sift is more my bag (baybee) because I generally top with it, ..

If I do more BHO, I'll need to pick up a nail & dome for my tube. I bought a cheap bubbler (nail/dome) for the erl last time, but I managed to break it (and not really give a shit). The dome got alllll mucked up (resembling dabbing-while-drunk, but I'm really just a messy slob) with erl, .. One day, the damned dome wouldn't come off the bubbler, .. And already seeing where this was headed, I said "Fuck it, I'm gonna force it, and it's either gonna come off, or it's gonna break and come off. I really don't give a shit which."

So now it's broken and in need of a new dome at the least, and ideally a new nail. (Shitty glass freebie, it's almost convex on the top.. WTF)

..and I suppose there's always edibles, but to be honest, a) that stinks up my house somethin' fierce, and b) I always end up with cookies in the freezer for months, .. I usually just get sick of looking at 'em in the freezer and just give 'em away/bring 'em to parties..

This hawaiian has gotten himself in some hot water more'n once with a[n excessive] combination of multiple cookies and multiple drinks. :shucks:

Anyway. Halp. :whiteflag:

Grab your bubble bag.

Fill with product and Dry Ice.

Hold over and partially inside a very clean 5 gallon bucket.

Shake like crazy for a minute.

Collect the golden goodness for yourself.

Then shake like hell tell it starts to get a little green and then STOP. Use this for whatever you want.

I love Dry Ice Hash. The reason I love it, is that is is SOOO easy to make.

So easy to clean up. And wicked fun to smoke.

I used to shake the Bubble bag over a Glass table and then used a credit card or whatever to scrape it all up.

There will be LOTS of it.

Lemme know if you have any questions. Use a middle size bag or whatever you have, don't take it all to serious.

Maybe do one batch with one bag... one batch with another and then look at it with your scope.

Lemme know how it works!!!

One other thing.

Coconut oil has a good shelf life.

You could always make a jar o' oil. then make stuff whenever you want.

Here is a Recipe that works for Very Strong Oil.

The process only takes 15 minutes, that’s right 15 MINUTES! Any more than 15 minutes will degrade what was already optimally extracted. The tricky part is keeping the oil consistently heated between 290 degrees and 300 degrees for 15 minutes. (REMEMBER 300 & 15)

Needed:
1. A candy thermometer 0-400 degrees FAHRENHEIT temperature range.
2. Coconut oil *butter breaks down and does not do well at 300 degrees FAHRENHEIT.
3. Small pot that can hold hot oil and a candy thermometer. *The oil needs to cover the bottom of the
candy thermometer to get the most accurate reading.
4. 1/4 oz of product.
5. A Grinder or blender to grind the product.

Directions: Grind product. Heat oil to between 290 Degrees FAHRENHEIT and 300. Your burner setting may keep it consistently between 290 and 300, but you still have to watch the thermometer CLOSELY! Use your Candy thermometer to keep the temperature at less than 300.**over 300 will degrade product extraction. **Less than 300 degrees is always better than more than 300 degrees. *(REMEMBER 300 & 15) for maximum product extraction- scientifically proven.

Double the coconut oil (Butter.) Example: if your Brownie recipe calls for 3/4 stick of butter, double it and use 1 1/2 sticks equivalent of coconut oil. This will make sure the oil goes above the candy thermometer, during cooking, for accurate temperature reading. *Coconut oil lasts many, many times longer than butter for storage purposes.
Once you obtain a consistent temperature, which is less 300 degrees FAHRENHEIT, but higher than 290 degrees, mix your ground product in. Stir frequently and watch the thermometer, if it approaches 300, remove it until it cools down. *NEVER COOK ABOVE 300 DEGREES. *(REMEMBER 300 & 15)

After 15 minutes of cooking, remove it from the heat and let it cool down. After the cool down, mix the coconut oil and remaining product into your favorite Brownie recipe and mix. This will result in potent brownie squares 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch squares, from a 9 x 9 standard pan. NEVER COOK BROWNIES ABOVE 300 DEGREES. *ANY COOKING ABOVE 300 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT WILL DEGRADE, SO COOK THE BROWNIES AT 290 DEGREES, USING THE TOOTHPICK METHOD- WHEN YOU THINK THEY ARE DONE STICK A TOOTHPICK IN AND PULL IT OUT, IF NOTHING STICKS THEY ARE DONE, REMOVE FROM OVEN.

After cool down, eat 1/2 of a single brownie square (1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch squares), to test out the potency. Depending on how potent they came out, decide what you need.

If you follow these steps, it will be 100 percent effective and optimally potent.

Go get yourself a speedball silk screen from a local craft store like Michaels. Should be under 50 bucks depending on size, I spent like 30 I think, and I promise you the dry sift hash it makes is superb. It comes out the color of your trichrome heads, for me on the table it looked like white powder until scraped up, then it took on a light golden color.

I think there is something to be said about keeping the screen taught and stationary.

I think the bags work fine for dry sift and great for water but moving and bending the screen while processing probably changes the shape and size of the screen holes ever so slightly, allowing more contaminates.

Hmm. I like the approach, .. Couple questions. So you just take the mesh bag full of product and dry ice (what's the consistency of the dry ice? chunks? how big? pulverized/snow?), .. And hold the bag itself (kind of wadded up in your hand) over the clean 5 g bucket, and sha sha shake?

Challange: I gotst no bubble bags, and don't fancy purchasing a set, TBH. I'm more interested in one size, one screen/bag, .. etc.. (Iknowiknowiknow, "But brah, like, different GRADES, maaaan." .. but I'm all "Simplicity, maaaah..") I don't need to get too carried away with investments here.. :)

I'm still considering this route, with the sole bag (size TBD), from the man at the corner.. I think the bag he said is $30-40, .. VS much more for a set, ..

All is use is one bag. You should be good to go.

Wal Mart has the Dry Ice Pellets. But I Usually just get a few pounds at the grocery store and drop it on the ground a few times in the paper bag it comes in to break it up. Don't worry too much about the size of the chunks.

Hold the Top of the bag a crinkled up in your fist and just sha-shake it man!

You'll be blown away at how easy it is.... and how fast.

Just ask CalienteCarlos. He might even have some photos.
