Yeah, i was hoping he had someone to water them while he was gone. I didn't want to ask. But at least if he comes up against the same issue he'll know how to handle it. That's how I learned most of my stuff......by doing it wrong and then having to fix it.

good luck savoy. The WW are sensitive for ganja......I think you'll have easier luck with your other strains.

Hmmm...Another thread where people say ocean forest is too hot for seedlings. I know that is very popular advice that is commonly given to a lot of people just starting off. PERSONALLY, I use ocean forest to start beans in all the time. I've never had problems with 'nute burn' from the soil. And yes, i've grown about 20 white widows started in ocean forest, so this does apply to your question. I just don't see the problems that everyone speaks of with 'burning' seedlings.
However, it is almost a waste to use such high quality mix for plants that don't need much food to thrive. Using a seed starting mix can help to save the high dollar mix for larger transplanting before flower. No need to use the $20 a bag for starting em off if you can save it.
I think your problem still resides in your tap water. If the plant was over-watered before, then flushing wouldn't help much would it? I never flush until last few weeks because i use organics (even then i don't dump large amounts of h2o into my pots) but thats another story. Try using r/o water for a few weeks and see what happens. Just my 2pence here....

Thanks for your .02. Havent gotten my PH meter so I'm not sure where my waters at. It doesn't matter much now, I pulled all of em and shut down the grow. :cuss: I had sick plants, I'm leaving for a week, and moving. I figured f*** it.

I'm Excited about setting up a new location. My current one was an extreme incovinience in my small place. Have you tried living without a closet? My new place is 3 times the size and will make it a lot easier on me. As of now I think I will be building a false wall in the large master closet. I'll be sure to add pics as soon as everything is up and running.. Strains will be NYCD and big bud. Thanks again to everyone. I'll be reading through all your posts in the mean time to get tips on doing the next one right.
