Volantere to what ever you think may help others it don't have to be long term
it don't have to be out of country !
i did some thing for a church that is not even my religion .
wich comes out kinda wrong when i type it (very spiritual not religious)
but volantere ing will make you feel good !
what and where you go is up to you !

The thread is back on page 1, which means my dreams are still alive!
I want to volunteer in exchange for food and housing overseas. I want to get the hell out of USA man. Screw this rat race shit.
I don't want to play the USA game anymore. I suffer burnout very quickly and start to go kinda batty. I have to get off this damn island.
Wow. This woman is from my hometown. She also said she wanted to get away from the "rat race."

I served 27 months in the Peace Corps in Africa
it was a life changing experience, and would love to do it again if I could get off of work that long
I would HIGHLY recommend volunteering overseas.. You will not regret it
You give a whole lot, but you could never give as much as what you get out of the experience.. it is wonderful
I would volunteer through a smaller organization or something other than the Peace Corps... There are many to choose from.
