Shopping for soil. Is a nursery as dangerous as a hydro shop visit?

If you go to a nursery, are you just as security minded as if going to a hydro shop? i.e. taking a car thats not yours and giving fake info for their mailing list, pay cash?

What are some good excuses for regular old potting soil besides growing? The best idea ive come up with is filling in a hole from a tree stump i uprooted. Id like to hear some others.

I need 3 cubic feet. is it better to go to a few nurserys and get like a bag at a time or just get it all at one place? Do they usually have cameras? Would it be wise to go out of city?

get it all at once. Damn it's soil man. Every retired old lady uses it, and they don't keep 10 pallets of the stuff in stock just to look at. You want weird looks, try asking for a 16 yard dump truck of vegetable soil. That will make em look at ya funny. To bad it's actually legit for my veggie garden

youll be fine man, goin to a hydro store isnt evdn a big issue either- i go all the time; im growin tomatoes, i pay with cash, the store is far away from my house, no worries.

just be smart and u wont get caught. If you walk in like "YO I NEED SOME SOIL FOR GROWIN ME SOME WEED" then yea, your pretty fucked, and dumb.

Lol! I have worked at a few nurserys, no one cares what your growing and they wont ask for specifics unless you ask for advice, and if you do say your starting a tomato patch or somthing. I've had people come up and staight up ask me what is good for cannabis or that its for canna, no one cares what you are growing but dont look suspicious and if you want advice say tomatos, they like similar conditions.

Hahaha, My excuse was just incase i saw a relative or someone I knew. I wa splaning on sayin..."Oh, I was down here in town, and my friend ***** asked me to get his dad stuff for the garden this year." I ended up getting in and out so fast that I got more than i expected and I really overthought the whole thing. Go early in the morning if your afraid of seeing someone you might know. No one will ask what the soil if for go buy it at home depot or rona god dame... mind you Iv only picked up 15 bales of pro mix #4 in middle of winter befor a few time.If your in usa i guess its diffrent store its... HE GROWS DOPE CALL THE COPS.....

a bale or 2 noone will think anything... but if you buy dirt from a hydro store thats just a dead give away... who gose to a hydro store for dirt.... Growers....

Just make sure you have a car port so thows noise naibors wont think anything of thows bails going into the house... unless you have shit loads of house plants and a greenhouse built onto it ...

lol im in the usa and i went to a nursery and got a bail of sunshine mix last week. payed with a check...dude said 'u startin a greenhouse or somethin' i just said yeah and walked out with my bail. he kinda smiled at me tho, lol. i didint even act suspicious or anything.

Last winter - definitely not growing season I was casually waiting at the counter of a local store with 2 bags of black gold coco blend when one of my lil brothers friends walks up and is like "yo man whats up with the dirt" I quickly reply oh it's for my moms roses. He looks at me and gives me this "all knowing look". I immediately went home and shaved my whole body with a hunting knife.

Also keep in mind the lack of work ethic in this country most employees atleast general employees dont even know there ass from the back of there hand when it comes to there stock so dont worry.
