I love Europe's varied culture and diversity. There is something great to discover in every country, and the distances between the countries are nice and short. London is 1 hour away from the regional airport and Spain, Italy and Greece can be reached in about 3 hours by plane. The Alps can also be reached relatively quickly by car and the southernmost part of Germany as well as Austria and Switzerland are really beautiful.

A tour through Europe is definitely worth a trip and I can only recommend it. Dresden in Germany has a very beautiful old town and Prague in the Czech Republic is also a must-see. I could list so many cities now and I would still forget half or even more. Porto and Lisbon in Portugal also have a very different and special appearance and the nightlife in Barcelona is simply fantastic. The Spanish islands have wonderful nature and the whole Mediterranean region has beautiful places with cultural highlights everywhere. Great Britain is very different again and has its own allure. And a few kilometers away are the fantastic Scandinavian countries with their incredibly good education and a social culture worth protecting, very modern big cities and the many lakes. Oh yes, and lots of blond people.
Bulgaria has very warm and charming people and Hungary is also beautiful. In Poland, many small towns have been modernized and it is one of the safest countries where a woman can safely walk home alone in the middle of the night.

Hiking didn't work out today but local recreation is well developed. I live within walking distance of a small lake. It is in the city but very nice.
