scoobie ran over across the street the other day at the farm when he was sick and not feeling himself. He's pretty controllable usually but it was scary because its a fast road. Have to get him figured out. Going out to the farm to plant onion. How early can we plant potatoes?

Dad;s old garden book from 1978 said wait until stable air temps of 60-70f to plant potato

i need to set up some spuds this year. i'm not at the farm this year . it was frustrating me too much and turning me into an ogre

Yeah it can be a difficult job on top of managing employees. Mowing service is great, straight up. Crops never fail. Just have to mow, customers are responsible for growing the crop. Good LORD gives the increase. Lower risk. Even when cannabis is legal, not looking at doing production more than likely except maybe breeding work.

Produce growing can be risky and demanding. Its fun, but it can be not as fun depending how the season goes. Have to be talented and always learning and adjusting.

basically , i worked out it is better to do everything myself , and small scale and build from there . my mate and land owner was not interested

goes back to principles again. i warned my friend a few times i would have to leave the project if i carried on losing money and time. which i did , so i then have to move on
