  • Russia: Prince Batu and Sübedei conquered the Russian principalities and the Pontic and Caspian steppes. They also invaded Hungary and Poland, leaving both areas devastated.

  • Iran, Armenia, and Georgia: Chormaqan led an army to conquer these regions.

  • Kievan Rus': The Mongols invaded Kiev, Vladimir-Suzdal, Galicia-Volhynia, Smolensk, Rostov, Turov and Pinsk, Chernigov, Ryazan, Pereyaslavl, and the Cumans.

  • Baghdad: The Mongols sacked Baghdad.

  • Mamluks in Egypt: The Mongols attacked the Mamluks in Egypt.

If it wasn’t for the mighty Poles they would have taken Western Europe too

poland had a 11th century formation . mongol empire 13th and 14th .

yep The mongol empire would Probably have been the breadth of Eurasia if not for Poland. They Influenced Russia A lot imo. Russia post mongol invasion seems to consider itself part of the east and not Europe
