They do a decent lemongrass chicken Bahn mi from the Vietnamese cafe/deli round here, I always swerve the pate mush though and have plenty of fresh chilli and extra daikon radish.

Broooooooo blue cod all day!!!!!!

Also depends if ya catch and cook or not.
South Island gets the blue cod but north island doesn’t get them.
Top of the south and north island get snapper But lower South Island doesn’t get them.

Never tried flat head when I was on the east. Caught a bunch of bream in WA.

At least there's a few koi mixed in there. Here they're all just common carp.

We'd catch the odd koi or ghost carp in the Thames when I was a kid, ones that had been released from home ponds and some monsters that travelled miles through locks when the gravel pit lakes they were stocked in flooded into to the river, pretty cool really.

Mate carp fishing in England is on another level, no killing them with a stick and leaving them on the bank.
They have venues up and down the country stocked full of monsters. People might camp up and night fish for a few days just to get a couple of photos with a famous carp, most have been given names too! Haha

The hobby is huge and the amount of bait that gets slung in and money spent, especially in the spring/summer is astounding.

A Thames carp always was and still is something very special catch!

No, I never saw it here in germany.
Unfortunatelly there are not many immigrants from asia in germany. Most are from middle east.

I once did a Dahl cure over several days. At the time I didn't realize how strongly rice with pulses and clarified butter detoxifies. Due to the strong release of toxins in the cells, I got a severe headache after the second or third portion and didn't know the connection. I only realized this on the third day. But you can bind the toxins quite well with healing clay and the headaches disappear again. I should do a Dahl cure again.

I once had a Czech girlfriend and we spent Christmas in the Czech Republic. Carp is traditionally eaten there at Christmas. I tried it, of course, because I had never eaten carp before. However, I found the taste took some getting used to and also had a very strong taste of mud. I would love to go to Prague again. What a beautiful city.

There was a big problem with Eastern Europeans eating everything they caught in England, it got pretty bad.

I heard they liked it at Christmas, you'd think they'd get the mud taste out though.

Yeah the night fishing missions were always a laugh. With your mates, fire/cheap petrol station disposable bbq, beers, joints and a little fishing...

My neighbors were fishing and I joined them. The lakes and long stays in nature were very refreshing. But it feld wrong to kill the insects and the fish. I had a bad gut feeling about that every time and stopped fishing.
Nowadays I use the SUP or go for a walk at the lake to enjoy nature.
My gut feeling warned me a lot of times against bad decisions in life but my rational mind often goes against it

No, I’ve never really got red eyes from smoking.

Do you reckon if you slapped a diving mask on they’d still go red?
Serious question. Is it from the physical smoke or the effects of the smoke?
