same here!
got some WLD like the Bubba & Peyote crosses and some pure regular Sandstorm on sale,
but never got to buy the Destroyer & Peyote
Mangobiche of course was also on the list, it was just the money back then.
ordering seeds is always like 500 bucks, and very often I've deleted my shopping cart after thinking about my own vault. Might be 100k at this point, and I'm still buying?
changing one addiction for another, great strategy^^

for the Colombian, though.
I plan on reproducing 40 Colombian Gold 1972 on some point,
also got some La Reunion Island strains, like Mangu Carrot and the other one, ahh Kalite something.
you could hybridize something similar to Mangobiche with those x C.Gold

but of course it'd be nice to have those pure.
I know there are people still growing these, it might just take some time&effort to make the connections for a share.

i like the way you are using many pck males.

I always try to use all stable males I have
it's just common sense, trying to not bottleneck yourself
also I am not growing for Elite cuts & commercial whatever
I'm just preserving heirlooms in their pure form, and make those hybrids no one else has.
don't like the cannabis industry very much.
especially now it's gonna become legal in Europe, it's a joke what these people think "is good" haha
we all have seen it turn out in the USA, watching the black market explode because of the better quality & price!
just splendid!

I'm happily fine with the state of things, though
people not knowing whats good, doesn't hurt me, only helps my brand^^
like this week, I'm having a bit of a drought, hence I have to smoke calyx off my seed plants...
and those already having better quality & high, than the 10g commercial Amnesia I had to get earlier, is saying something about the future already!
some of the worst bud ever, never had to caugh this much, and it wasn't even moldy or anything, just bad weed, didn't even get me high enough to fall asleep.
with the fresh organic homegrown fully seeded, I am yet to cough even!
what a fucking joke!

Panama is my favourite strain, if it wouldn't make you mentally ill at some point, I'd only smoke that. And you know what I mean^^

you can still find those from Khalifa genetics, via ACE seeds website.
I just recently bought em all, all Northen Afghan, Tajik, Uzbek, even Siberian Ruderalis.

good work . that is dedication. when do you intend on growing them out? and panama is a goodun . the panama dc maybe even better but again i grew them in low numbers , so it means noting on the whole. I would need to grow many of them before making a verdict. if the cannabis seed market stopped calling every hybrid and polyhybrid a "strain" would be a good start , and yes i'm not a fan of just taking th emost direct route everytime of best fem vs best reversedfem etc . diversity and ability to make more seeds is nice too

puh! that's a tough question
likely not before legalization, just from being limited to homegrowing.
After 10 years of making seeds, I'm kinda stuck with it and there are much older seeds in my fridge that need to be reproduced first, before looking at any of the new stuff.
currently I'm juggling 200 plants in my 2 room apartment, just so you get an idea.
of course most of them are clones, and clones of clones, but you gotta do things the right way!

also with my local laws, making seeds is a legal grey area, if they bust you with over 70% of the weight being seeds, there will be no persecution, as no law was broken.
material with mostly seed is not to be considered of drug value, even with some THC
and clones + seeds are completely legal to own, buy & sell
been working in a clone shop in the past

the mexican sativa used in early pearl would be a good start alice. i forget its name . And then sinai , leb moroc or other arid heirlooms for drought resistance ,and then i always think of tropical and subtropical strains as my mould resistance . you would need both maybe infused and then to lower the flowering period would take selections and mybe polyhybrid . esben produced many outdoor combinations for north outdoors. selections over several generations and using the correct components whie trying to limit using ruderalis for a northern climate is an art i imagine
That's kind of what I'm doing :) I've seeds of a Syrian landrace from the Real Seed Co. for drought resistance (similar to Lebanese/Morocan), and some Himalayan landrace sativas for tolerance of cold/rain/wind. Also have some ACE Erdpurt, which is adapted for N Europe. I'm aiming to make a mashup that will grow outdoors in spite of shitty weather. I tend to seed any decent females with any males I get, keep records, grow out what smokes best, repeat, repeat, repeat... the auto line I'm working is a massive polyhybrid & has lots in its background - some skunk (from the Critical in the Medical Mass), some African sativa, some mexican and columbian (from the RQS AK47 auto plants I used to start the project) and some Brazilian (from White Rhino).

i think the market will reverse a bit and the heirlooms will become more expensive and sought after as reggular p1 stock. i expect internet blackouts in the future so i'm interested in regular seed and p1s. csi humb has gold right there . the value will sky rocket

Yeah. We cant count on any stability in any global markets or systems. Interesting times. Likewise I'm building up seed stocks to be independent of any online sources.

i think that is wise of you aliceklar . grow and make your own seeds with your favourite plants and have fun growing them out . It is all experience and it is interesting too . stable regular lines like erdpurt , early pearl , would be worth considering for outdoor hybrids and look at the danish, canadian and swiss seed vendors

the hindukush x cheese have shown sex after only i think 6 days in the flowering tent. i chose 5 i thought would become females, and i wasn't far off. 4 females and 1 male. they all smell strong. i will kill the male . if the finished product is of any use to me , then i will go through these seeds in more numbers. so far so good though . quick response to photoperiod early . indica dom . i have given out maybe 60 of these to friends in my area to try . i have maybe 200 for myself.
