utopia approx 56 days. ambers starting to show . this one i'm rvegging just in case . i will chop her soon, leaving just a lowerbud site remaining and trim some roots off and repot her into new soil and stick her under 23 hr light and hope for the best . usually works well.
silverhashplant88 drying stage. crispy on the outside, quick trim , then they get "sweated" for a day then back onto the racks for drying and then final trimmed .
peach getting first trim then a sweat period, before final dry and trim. my camera is playing up again and struggling to get fully focused pictures. part focused at best. oh well.
the 2 x early skunks are starting to flower and a few seeds are developing from the 2 x leb males and early pollination. leb 2 test clone outside in the open has started to mould mid flower . no sign of mould on these late blooming early skunks , so i hope i get a couple of mould resistant phenos in the future seeds . and if i don't , i don't.
Very nice stuff! Too bad about the lebanese...
Sounds interesting how you go about your harvest.
Mind explaining your procedure a bit? It sounds interesting with the sweat.
basically . i chop the plant at the base andi try keep it whole , i remove the fan leaves only. I try get the majority of the water out before i start leaving it with high humidty so i do 4-7 days hang drying and try aim for around 50% humidity with and 21c-24c and fan circulating. after a few days they will be crisp on the outside , sticky and moisture on the inside and also the constantly wicking of water through the stems , i take them off the main branches at this point and put in a large appropriate container tub with a lid on and seal it and leave it over night. this equalizes the moisture and makes the buds feel wet again and not crisp anymore the folowing day. which means it has worked. the buds then get tipped onto a drying rack and dried again for a couple of days to go to the level i want. then i final trim , then i test smoke a joint and if its burning smooth and true it gets cured at that point. if its still a bit uneven i repeat the process.thats how i do it , and everyone is different. about 10 days to 14 days the process takes before the jarring stage. i'm as primitive as you can get really. i'm not a fan of running the risk of a higher humidity and slow initial dry. i never allow my buds to go to dust either. dry yet sticky i try keep it .hope you can make some sort of sense out of what i type . cheers
tough question to answer
I haven't smoked any real ones since 2015, if I ain't growing them, there simply will be none.
just started getting the garden back to operation,
some more patience brother
let's talk Sativas after new years
currently I'm growing PCK for seeds and before that, I had a grow of G13-Haze x Shoreline S2 for bud. But that's all gone already : (
for current smoke, I just grind the green material of this outdoor seed plant harvested Sept15
until I have something better again.
Very nice uplifting smoke, but of course not strong
it's a mystery strain, got 5 out of 13 bagseeds, 4 girls 1 male, super early flowering, but razor leafs...
thanks for the tip btw, I have already profited big from reading your thread : )
had all this for years, never came to me mind using it the right way
have you grown the pck before ? i grew 5 x fems of the pck but didn't find what i was looking for in that small batch of seeds . i have the Violeta in my tent now, which is malawi x pck . nothing to report yet as they are still babies really. i havent done a bagseed grow in over 20 years lol, fun times . what was the weed sold as that the seed came from?
