Yep my belief is that the honey which has a low water content for storage purposes actually sucked the cutting dry. And some paper posted in the thread seemed to suggest it doesn't have much benefit for rooting anyway.honey isn't the easiest product to permeate , maybe the clone dehydrated. good for open wounds and sealing wounds
But just trying it out for fun... Rooting easily and fast without any rooting agents or other tricks is a key criterion in selecting a mother plant for me anyway. less trouble down the line. Well in theory anyway, haven't kept that many moms around. Much prefer seeds but hey with fem-only lines or even worse fem/hermie lines, what are you gonna do.. Well could spray with silver I suppose.
