Cool! Auto pots? Why not just do spaghetti hoses with emitters?

Hand watering will still be required with autopot containers, I guess. The autopot system just helps to keep them from getting too dry underneath but the top can dry out.

Would be better for house plants than fruit or medicine plants.
autopots work perfect . the roots at the top of the pot are not the same as the anchor roots. i prefer bottom feeding . it is also media dependent . dripper block , need more maintenance , not as easy to use . autopot system for the master plants and pon as media then bottom feeding is nice

it is a miracle. she rang me today . sounds normal. she is well ahead of schedule and is released on friday , and i'm cooking for her on saturday . happy days. she is sore and a bit dizzy . but considering she just had her skull restapled back on earlier , she is in remarkable health. she has full motion too which suprised the surgeon . he said she would be limp on one side for a while possibly. she could of been in hospital for a couple of weeks , and she is out in 4 days . miracle speed
Excellent news mate!

What is pon? What is hemp pots?

Yeah the bottom roots are the healthiest because they stay with adequate moisture. Interesting. How far up does it wick? Do you still water normally as the top dries out a couple inches deep?

Wondering if it is inert like coco or what is its CEC (cation exchange capacity)?

The purely mineral plant substrate LECHUZA-PON is the heart of the original LECHUZA irrigation system and the ideal plant substrate for your house plants. With its mineral components, it offers excellent drainage properties and thus ensures optimal root aeration. This means that waterlogging in the planter has no chance! The special composition provides stable pH value and acts as a reservoir for water and nutrients, which are released back to the plants as needed and individually. To ensure that your houseplants appear lush green and stimulate growth, LECHUZA-PON is enriched with a long-term fertilizer This reliably supplies your plants with all the nutrients they need for 6 to 8 months. LECHUZA-PON consists of high-quality zeolite, pumice and lava and remains stable in volume thanks to its special composition. Compared to soil, PON does not compact or clump. Due to the purely mineral base, the substrate does not offer any room for fungi or pests such as fungus gnats. This makes it ideal for allergy sufferers. The substrate is peat-free for nature's sake, making it the best choice for your houseplants.

Tips: After about six months it is time to fertilize the plants again. With slow-release and liquid fertilizers PERFECT LEAF, plants are supplied with sufficient nutrients and shine in their new greens.

april, Will probably wait until at least the 7th day depending on the weather. April 15 would do best. May 1 was a bit late last year compared to mid april plants that took off well.

says on the site the Luponza-pon media is a reservoir for water and nutrients but didn't say if its inert. I think it is based on the ingredients. Just be aware, fertilizer may be more finicky. But wont matter since you fertigate with auto pot!

it is not inert it clearly states it is mineral based. once rootbound and ater some time, 6 months you recharge it with the granule formula. it is media for house plants . tailoured exactly for the job. autopots and water . it lasts a lifetime too. semi hydro

reday to go house plant media. precharged with slow release food , you can feed too if you wanted to. i have the granules for mature adult plants. it is for long term plants , and auto pot auto feed systems pipe. hempy buckets and self watering containers... they make containers too which are nice but a hempy bucket does the same job

the fancy lechuza pots would be bad ass for my grow too . not needed though

Cool, sounds like a good plan. The emitters get out of adjustment and the containers can have dry pockets.

Watch out for rabbits and mice chewing the hoses. Send Meech out hunting.

Getting a good show of thunderstorms today. Mowing next week, just got my lawn done.

Thought I should plant seedlings for the herb and CBD garden a little on the early side if possible this year. The seedlings outdoors were germinated early. Monday night will get into the upper 20's F with a couple nights of frost, but we're getting close.

What are my temps to keep seedlings? 65F minimum? Could go down to 60F but not optimum?

i was always intrigued by aquaponics.
but i think it makes more sense for crop production.
maybe setting up a small system for small tropical fish to sell, to go with the house plants production would be like super capitalism. i think theres good demand for both.

good for rice fields . indoors , too much ballache monitoring the nitrogen cycles and controlling bacteria
