Cochins are what we had growing up. And they produce eggs most of the year too

No, I haven't my relatives have, but I've never got into that. Have always been the gardener. I have a bee hive going and about to set out another one and try and get them to bud off into there. Do you like honey? Silly question.

Not much time for honey harvesting though, since busy with work and gardens, so its more of a benefit as a pollinator for my crops and natives.
bee keeping is a skill in itself . I was thinking of asking the local bee club if they want to place a few boxes on the allotment and just give me and my partner a share

Looks like a warm bird. My neighbor here in town had quail they were raising in a small cage. They were getting eggs and harvesting birds. Never even noticed them , very quiet.

I have harvested the honeycomb one time back in like 2009.

A good family friend gave me a spinner, and a heated knife so I can harvest if i get the time. Dad got me a new hive for Christmas! He's been into watching the you tube posters, like fall line ridge, show how they care for bees and harvest honey.

m33 friesland . pink hair pheno and the other pheno smells good. fruity and pungent. two tall lanky ones are more pine based in smell after a good sniff of each. i like to put a straw up close to the bud and inhale the volatile fresh terps to start to get an idea of direction the y taking

Wow the stems are really pink in that first shot! Is that just the light. I see those pink pistils forming up! Those are neat. I wasn't sure if I have space for the pink n purps F2 lot 1-3, but It would be neat. Its has great genetics!

Good idea with the straw to taste the terps.

Description

Pinks N Purps F2 Lot #1 ~ Pinks N Purps Purple Females x Pinks N Purps Purple Males

Pinks N Purps is a complex hybrid of [(Mendo Purps x Killer Queen) x Hawaiian Indica]F2 x Afghani #1.

It was named Pinks N Purps because of its florescent Pink hairs it inherited from its Hawaiian grandmother and its Purple flowers it was gifted from its great great grandparent Mendo Purps.

Recommended for outdoor use for maximum enjoyment.

Beautiful Friesland!! I think im going to stick with landraces from Real Seeds and Ace from now on. I just dont have the skills to grow these modern hybrids and landraces always smell more scrumptious :yummy:

Whats your opinion on DJ Shorts Blueberry. I have a Blueberry x DC hybrid to plant. The Potcast made blueberry the strain of the year for 2021-22.

i liked blue moonshine in the 90s and blueberry in the 90s. anything in seed form i have tried has been poor and over priced. i'm yet to be convinced by djshort . i know many will disagree

Youre aware of this blueberry version right? It sounds pretty good to me. Youre right Shiva theres some good hybrids to be found. I think im just a sativa head by nature. If it wasnt for Ace seeds i probably would have quit smoking years ago. Nothing like a central american sativa to melt the stress away

i had a blue moonshine in my late teens that i grew , that i would love to have again. back then i thought that was just normal to get such a plant and i didn't have a veg room to keep cuts at that stage

i suggested that to another member recently and i would try that one if i was to spend money again on blueberry.well spotted , and good shout

i would reduce hours bit by bit with that version if growing inside . just in case. try and match north spains light cycle
