Day 60.

Day 60.

Back again... With a update!

Im glad to see everyone around!

@Lucky 7; Could you tell me/us more about ure Moby Dicks? Growstyle, lat, how the summer was and so on.. and maybe post a pic or two?
Ya, we have the bull-thistle-thingys around, but unfortunately not close to the garden.
And the project to move em there is just to much to handle for me. Thanks anyways for the idea!!

@Numaya n' zephyrcat; Thanks! and here we go!

--------------------------------------

I re-read the thread throu and I noticed that I put up alot of pics of cripples and stunts and shit..
Im reflecting that its like.. the.. errr... interesting part of the garden. The part that runs itself aint much to look at or give special attention. hehehe!

sooooo, most of the ladies are going on just fine.
We've had some shitty weather with low temps last week or so. About 15-5C day/night and low sun..
About 50% of my ladies have started to flower and formed small starters on the budsites. Everyone of em has shown preflowers and I assume the remaining 50% will follow up in about 7-10 days.

The 50% that havent really taken off should need a good first week/10 days in sept. Lets cross our fingers for that to come throu.

Here is a Auto Diesel Mix that I moved to preserve pollen...

picture.php

And he is accompanied by a budwider male. The rest has been culled.

I guess you recognize this view...
In the back, to the left are those previously necrotic plants that jumped into flower when transplanted.
And when comparing them to the 1 out of two surving plants that has thesame age (+10 days) but transplanted a week earlier... its like.. Im out of words.
That plant is like 80 cm high, 60 cm wide and by far the most wellgrown AK47 I have in the garden.
(Ill show a pic of it later..)

picture.php

Lets zoom in on one of the attack-flowering plants.

picture.php

thing is; none of them are higher then 30cm/12".
But the smell.. Its like sniffin on a lemon-lemonade-fruit-juice-thingy!
I cant recall this smell on the ones I tried inside during the winter. but its sure a pure pleasure to put ure nose in there! Hihihi

Next up is the (Ghaze x C99) x C99

picture.php

And a closeup of the one that came furtherest into flowering-mode.

picture.php

That should be about what I have to showoff for this time.
Ill get a big photo-update to keep track on different strains and their flowertimes in a week or so.

until next time we catch up... Stay safe!

we're at latitude 43 dg N . . . I start plants indoor under 160 watts of florescents . . . wait till they get 1 month old then move them into pre-dug holes filled with a good mix; use Fox Farm nutes . . . . some molasses at the end.

If possible, the indoor start sure helps them survive the seedling stage.

mine are about 3 weeks from chop . . .camera broke; they are getting huge--1.5 meter tall--Dinafem Haze #2 next to em is under 1 meter

damn critter dug into roots last night searching for grubs! trap now re set & gun loaded! I shall have my revenge! plants okay but pissed off!

nothing works 100%! utilize everything . . . pics at different location; will get to & post . . . looks to be about 2 or 3 oz on these 2 Moby's; 1 or 2 on Haze

I have a regular (femmed) C99 & Headband 818 going too!

Headband should be 1lb; C99 close to this:woohoo:

Nice Update Fem !!

one thing i wish to say to ppl who go with multiple AF strain at once - try to avoid mixing strains in one soil-bed - some are reacting completly different from others on the food they receive and makes a bit hard to care for them properly in this cases. AF strains seem to be a lot more stable, potent, etc than previous years, but still not as regular ones yet - in my opinion they still need a careful aproach on soil mix - feeding times - and a few more .

Arrr! Im a pirate!

This is live from the garden.
Im checking out all my ladies and dont you think im lucky as few! I found out that one of the vertigos decided to go double-gender and pull nanners at me, so I pulled out my rapier, Arrrrr!!! And chopped he/she/it down! Aye!

Another few days and id have pollen everywhere, so.. No harm done but toooo cloooose for comfort. Phew!

So, im sitting here on a bucket, under a pine-tree in a rainshower.. Im glad i left some extra tarpaulins. I wrapped myself in one and are now eating blueberries while the rain smack me in my back... :)
One with nature.. Arrrr!!
Whats his name.. Bear grylls..? Could be my lil' sis! :D
(The big difference is that i give my urine to the garden instead of drinking it. Lol! )

The rain passed by.. I should get going and feed the remaining plants.. So long!
Stay safe! Aye!

Ps. Sorry for typos.. Phone.. :/ ds.

Fucking funny update man :) Always enjoyed 'Bear Grills' jokes a lot too :D

Last time I went checking I was high on caffeine and so I never mind bother the rain.

Got it all, and got soaken wet down my spine for hours and at some point even soggy in the boots. Best trip ever!, Grills could not have surpassed it!
Cuzz yanno, one should not drink it, one's got to save it up for the next spot a half hour away.
Boundary marking is what true survival is all about, lol

Ask your dog. ^^

:D

On a side note: Moose passed by my plants but left them untouched. From the adjacent Fireweeds however all tops were nibbled off. Kinda made my day :)

Back to reality.

Back to reality.

Heya!
I'm sorry that im not around here with a decent update more often then I am... Ill try to keep em at a better pace, but its not easy with a RL that steals alot of time from my garden! ;D

Anyway. Today; It was today atleast.. lol. 7 Aug; Day 83 I've harvested the first parts of the garden!

Both remaining Vertigos pulled nanners at me, and I was all like :noway:
They had about 10 days-2weeks left but they had to go..

Then I cut down the 4 necrotic AK47 that turned into flower at the transplant. But there is some shit going on there.. They all popped out new sidebranches at the bottom-node and put them in veg-mode, while the maincola was in swellagemode.. Im utterly confused what those four ladies were up to..
Anyway; cut the maincolas off, and left the revegging/second-flower branches to see whats going on with em.

Also; One of the (GhazexC99)xC99 was finished and looked like she was starting to make bananas.. I couldnt confirm it was a real banana, but it was fishy, and I wont see the garden in about a week.... So she went into my basket with the others on their way to the barber.

The Scrog-AK-47-bed is starting to look really nice. The different phenos makes it impossible to mono-crop. A few have a week left, others about a month.. :/

A little review:
(Xw=weeks to harvest)
Auto Blueberry; 2-3w, 1 of the plants show a little foxtailing.
Vertigo; FAIL! All 3 turned on me. I guess Ill get abou5 15 gr/ea
Autowappa; 1-2w, REALLY nice branching and budding. These ladies are probably the bestlooking one in the garden atm.
Fruit; 3w
AK47; 1-4 weeks. Really pheno-dependent... I hope early sept will be kind on me.
AV NL 3w, This ladies need way more space. They are a meter tall and could use a 80-90 cm diameter.
Haze 2-3 week, the 2 plants differ quite alot. But the smaller one got a bit behind and got shaded.
AV Blue; 1w
Polarlight; 1w
Haze 2.0; 2w
Critical + 3w, a bit slow.. I was expecting something else from this one after all I read about C+... Hrrm...
Mazar; 4-5w, Probably the biggest lady in the garden. The stem is MASSIVE and the branching is impressive, but she looks a little thirsty. I wonder if she is outgrowing her hole.
Black Jack 10-14 days, looking like a good 30 gr on them.
Original Amnesia; 2-3w
Moby Dick 2w/4w the plants are not in phaze. They look like sisters, just one is smaller. Nice nugs forming!
Snowstorm 5 weeks?. Just started to flower.
Grass-o-matic, 2-3w. Really nice 1meter plants. One a lil smaller.
(GhazexC99)xC99 First harvested, slowest is about 2 weeks away I guess. Really different phenos. Some dense sticks, others go rather branchy and 25 cm taller.

If you wanna see the company that sold the seeds youll find em at the first page, Im just to laze to do anything but read the note direct from how I made it in the garden.

Aye, I had some males...
I saved a purple beautiful Auto Diesel-mix and a green "booring" one.
And the bestlooking (happen to be purple) Budwider.

So; Now I've pollinated a few branches!
Budwider x Autowappa
Budwider x Haze
Budwider x AV NL

The purple Auto Diesel-mix male;
ADM x AK47
ADM x (GhazexC99)xC99

Ive also used some pollen from 2 ADM on ADM-females. Those diesel-strains seem to be quite medic when I read about em. I hope they work out as I plan...

On top of this do I have the 2 AK-47 that I reversed with the CS-metod, and they will start to drop pollen within a week. Thou... One of em got some mold already. I believe I toss him/her into the garbage-bin.
The better-looking plant is the survivor anyways

Ya, I guess thats it for now. Ill get back after a decent nights sleep with some pics for you to look at.
But.. I warn you now already; I had to take photos with a shitty phone, and the quality is what it is.. Sorry in advance.

Take care!
Stay safe!

Catching up....

Catching up....

Heya!

There is SO much I would like to show you..!

I think I start with the different spots and keep em a bit separated so its easier to follow what happened during the last 3 weeks.

But first.. I really need to roll another one! Be right back! :kos:

...
.
..
.....

Back! Weiii! And I got some pics up for you!

Lets start with the Vertigo that at day 64 drew on me, I was faster so he/she/it got a free ticket to my compost.

picture.php

And from Opiums thread I found inspiration to document the stems on a few selected strains. Here is the Mazar:

Day 64
picture.php

Day 82
picture.php

Ill get into explain the things in different steps in each post to make this understandable..

I need some more space to make the next post look okay.. Catch you there!

Part #2

Part #2

I did some LST on the AK47s in the net and on a few others, where it seemed a bit tight.
This LST allows me to get about 20% more sun on the plants allover.. That HAS to be something positive.
Not that I have found time to do a serious, all-over-LST... But I've given em some wire and bend em outward to catch more light/ ease up the spacing in there.
Most time on LST is spent on the AK-47s. Its just so convenient to have that net to tie em to.

I recon I should been in there somewhere inbetween.. Some of the plants was to stiff to push under the net, and I could just use wire, and they were to stiff to be shaped as I liked.

The garden is just to big, and my time is not sufficient.. But I sure do all I can to keep it up!

Here is the AK47-bed at
Day 64
picture.php

And then at
Day 82
picture.php

They sure go throu a magnificient transformation in just those days..

Lets jump to the Autodiesel/Budwider-project.

I have some pics of the males I saved away..

First out is the 3 males I saved; 2 Budwiders to the right, and the purple/almost black is a Auto Diesel Mix. Quite sexy if I may say!

Later on did one of the budwiders go purple to. Not THAT purple, but anyway... Aye btw, this pic is taken about 23.00... Tihihi!
Day 69
picture.php

A zoomin on the sexy purple/black one!
picture.php

Ah, and yeah! Lets add up a view we've seen before.. Heheheh!
Day 82
picture.php

Im sorry for the bad quality on some pics. I had to use my phone-camera and.. well.. thats just it.

Uuuh,,, Yea.. My Tarpaulins sure do their work! We had quite low with rain, so when I last visited em did I give em about 200 liters. The downside is that im now out of water. hrrmmm...
But they all seem to handle it okay. Its the Mazar and 2 other ladies that seem a bit tired, but they are all big plants, and their holes are probably just to small/they are to thirsty.

As I said I harvested the 2 remaining Vertigos that threw bananas on me, and a (C99xGhaze)xC99 that was done and ripe and POSSIBLY had a beginning of a banana.

Now its bedtime..
Ill get into that AK-47-revegg-thingy later..

Until then; Stay safe and take care!

The mysterios AK47...

The mysterios AK47...

but first.... I really like all this positive vibes I get from the posts in the thread, rep-msg and people recognizing the work I put into this! ..and ofc that you like to follow my garden!
It makes me so happy! Thanks! :>

Sooo... This revegging AKs.. Whats up with it.

Ill state a little theory. Hopefully someone can confirm it or shoot it under..

So, Yeah.. Those AK47.. The 4 plants this will be about is 10 days older then the rest. They were kept in the vegbox with higher temps and a little more light. This seemed to boost the plantsize above ground, and heavily reduce the amount of roots, compared to the others.

What I think happened was that they got so heavily stunted when transplanted, probably because the small rootball wouldent keep together when transplanted and it was falling apart, less or more on all them plants.

So, here is a refresh-picture from early transplant. Daycount can be somewhat off..
Rings = same age as arrows, but transplanted a week earlier.
Day 42 (Note that the non-red plants are 10 days younger, good to know when looking at em later.. hehehe....)
picture.php

At day 64 did they look like this
picture.php

You can see that the plant in the left red ring in the first pic now is gone. she lost the fight vs a snail. :/
Look at the small one..the one in the back.. You can see how new branches from the lower growth is vegging/early-flower.
Still it has a well developed main-cola going on.
Its like its been tossed back into veg, realized: "Fakk dis, im outta here!" And pop back into flower again at once. (confused)

Here is a Day 64 closeup on the plant in focus.
picture.php

And here from Day 82:

picture.php

You can see thesame type of behavious on the small sister to the right.. Its just not as big n' branchy.

So; My theory. There is something in these genes... Something that makes it possible for a full auto to somewhat reveg.
This would make a really interesting experiment.. WHAT IF you took one of the bigger AK-47s that has about 4 weeks until done. Youll slice her up in "cuts" and make sticklings.
Yeah, im not mad.. Just wait for it..

This should give you about.. what.. 60 cuts? Say that 40 survives... and..
I made a little experiment with a snapped branch from my first grow.
The result was stunning and strange.

picture.php

No, im not mad. Its just like Frank Zappa said:
“A mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work if it is not open.”
I cant try it out.. When the day come that I sort out a proper growroom I might rethink about giving it a shot!

So, any thoughs and ideas about this? I'd love to be shot under as much as I'd like some confirmation on this.
Bring it on! Dont be shy! :>

Until next time; Take care n' Stay Safe!

That cut gave me this under some LEs:

picture.php

Thats about 10gr dense nugs..

And back to my not mad calculations;
What about those AF-records..? 40 cuts x 10 gr. eeehehehehe!
maybe its not really fair to make a SoG out of a auto.. But to prove a point and maximize yield from ONE AF-plant it sure would be interesting to mess with it. Hehehe!

Stay safe! :thank you:

Preparations for the final stage.

Preparations for the final stage.

Heya!

A little update..
Ive been building dryingracks in a barn, making wooden frames and put up a net thats supposed to be the safetynet at constructionsites in these frames...
its a little like a mosquito-window-net, but bigger holes in it and way stronger.
I guess I have about 10m2 of dryrack, and I hope its enough.

This is why n' whats going down:
Since my garden is a quite far away I'll strip the plants of fanleafs at the site to make a small compost.
Then Ill chop up the plants so they are easier to move in 180L plasticbags.
I wont fit in more then a few in each bag if I take em whole. Lol!

Back home there will be shitloads of trimming to do.. But there wont be any nitpicking and the trim will be butter/ the bubbelbags will get to work within time.

The timeframe seems to be about a month from this weekend and 4 weeks forth.
I hope that the first batch will dry enough in a week to let the next batch/harvest in there.

If space-problems occure I can put up one of those big outdoor trampolines inside the barn. This should give me more then enough space for drying. I could also cut the plants so I can hangdry the whole branches in some lines...
Hmmm...
I haven't fully sorted this out yet...

So, folks.. I'd appreatiate input on how to harvest ~110 plants..:1help:
(This is a excellent time to "share" in this share n learn-thread)

Stay safe!
Fem~
