70-72 days is the sweet spot for me with all the ogs I've ever ran.... The swelling doesn't even really start till 60 n those 10 next days is a game changer.... I always hit them with a pk boost only, a day or so before flush which starts at day 60... The swelling is noticeable the next day...n every day after until chop....

So upset that I lost the SFV girl....

Long weekend away and super hot weather last July or August and she was gone, a distant memory. I took 5 cuttings and all were totally wilted and dried up when i got back and I have been at an utter loss ever since.

Is she still out there....?

Those nugs all dried and cured now? How's she taste from under the sun?:) One of my favorite smokes , OG's impress me

Meant to hit "Quote" instead of rep the post, woops. It's been a week since I smoked it last but that shouldn't matter any since they've been in jars as long as they have. I'm not impressed at all with the smoke on this run. That's not a knock against SFV yet though. I'm going to run her again indoors and see what she's really about and also seed up a branch or two for shits and giggles. If I'm still not impressed after this next indoor run she will get the boot. Already on thin ice as it is.

well, I've put 5 beans of Bad Dog Genetics SFVOG BX1 to germinate [SFVOG x Long Bottom Leaf(SFVOG x Loran's Jacks Cleaner II)]
will pop in here from time to time with an update but the grow report will be on a site associated with the breeder.

You can pass your SFV mom my way if you decide to dump her. I'm down for some sloppy seconds.

Hey TT, pm me a link to your grow show please.

If she's on thin ice, the maybe she's not legit or like you said you need an indoor run to get it right. I haven't grown em all but would take her over tk,Tahoe, true, and hells angel. sfv did well for me at 45n even taken early @oct 15

I have run sfv for 15 years, same cut. Never left my genetic preserve.

If your plants are throwing three stars they are not healthy enough to clone and that might be the problem most are having losing cuts. With this girl you need a healthy mom, big clones, I mean 6" plus from dominant tops.

Washing the nitrogen out of them helps also. If your mom has that waxy almost toxic nitrogen look your cuts will take twice as long.

I get transplantable roots from my domes in ten days max. This girl will also put out over two a light under regular lamps and adjusta wings. Just pre veg 8" to 12" with four to eight leads place in veg and weave all new growth through a screen for three weeks at 4 to 6 per 4' x4' flip to flower set another screen and weave through day 21 of stretch removing any large fans blocking your now flattened canopy. This works in dirt coco and rock wool.

This girl gets a bad rap as hard to root and low yields. Follow the above and keep them slammed with light and you will have forearm sized colas of the best og there is, arguably of course.

A couple pages back stoney 917 gives some great advice also. He or she seems to know the cut well.

On another note I have never seen my sfv turn purple at all. I got it when og kush was just og kush. It didn't have all these funny names. It actually went for 8000 a unit and 560 a zip if you could get it. Real deal cut for sure. I just hate seeing my best BITCH get such a bad rap.

It is very important to keep the vegging plant going until you have not only rooted a clone but also got it to veg with this particular girl at least in my opinion. She will return but until then I am running some sour og f3's in her place maybe I will find something nice soon!

I agree that stoney's advice is also good for this variety.

Rep to both of you OG's!

Bad Dog Genetics tester beans , SFVOG BX1
Haven't grown many true "OG" like this one so not sure what to expect, but good things for sure.
I Topped them last night but they are almost clones of each other even though they are from seed. For those of you with real experience growing the SFVOG cuts , your comments, thoughts are welcome. Spots on leaves are damage from thrips.... I'm treating with spinosad product and winning.... finally.

Is each pic a different plant?
They almost look like clones.
Wonder what was done between F1 & bx?
