People can do anything they want. But prison is full of people that put their greed over their own safety.

Growing in your own residence has it's limitations, but you are guaranteed a certain level of protection under privacy laws. And if you're in a medical state, you'll be somewhat close to the state limits. All of this matters in court and whether or not the city/state DA wants to prosecute.

However, if you are using a warehouse pulling 20-30kwatts, your case will be picked up by the DEA. And federal sentencing guidelines are very harsh when it comes to grow ops. Add in a month's worth of wire taps and now you're part of a criminal enterprise. That's a few years added to your sentence. Government has a 90%+ conviction rate. On top of that, they'll seize everything you own, including the warehouse, if you own it, your cars that you use to transport items, etc etc.

I'm just offering a different opinion. I think people are getting a little bit too lax when it comes to grow ops due to recent changes in state marijuana laws. Small/closet growers don't really have much to worry about unless you live in some crazy red state. However, ops of this size do not fall under the jurisdiction of state laws. Your medical marijuana permit won't mean much when you have 1500 SOG plants behind you and your friendly DEA agent is telling the reporters that you're the Pablo Escobar of weed.

ideas?

ideas?

Dont tell them its for personal use. Tell the city its for personal use. they dont hang out at Starbucks together and talk about you

hahahaha love it

just buy a warehouse out in the country....if it is on county land (not city)
very few rules apply...ie licenses, inspections for fire etc.

I personally would recommend you setup a sign denoting that this is a business...something to the order of Consolidated Oil Pipe Welding and Repair....you have to be careful with the business u choose as it should be able to justify the electric use and at the same time not have actual customers come in...if you had just Jim's Welding on the sign you might get genuine customers showing up.

Also claiming you are operating a computer server farm is quite effective...esp when there wont be traffic coming in and out...go on ebay and buy bunch of shit servers/computers and hook them up so it looks like something legit is going on...and it power co is none the wiser as these farms use up tons of power:joint:

Wrong

You hang a sign out front, then the city/county wants an occupational license at the cost of an inspection and yearly inspections. Tell anyone from the city its for personal use, tell the electric company whatever you want

2-4 car garage. Shit, I could fit a veg room and 2 flowering rooms of 8KW each in a 2 car garage. If I didn't have biannual inspections I'd turn my 3 car garage into a 16KW flip + veg room in an instant.

Nice to do this where folks can't hear the hum it will have though. And a 200A service panel helps.

I grow in 2 car garages and you are not going to fit 2 8kw flowering rooms plus a veg room in that space.
