Well, i'm confused... first they bombard us with commercials saying that by buying marijuana that we are SUPPORTING TERRORIST... so now when your grow your own or an american grows and sales it is not even considered marijuana... its SUPER POTENT. I just love how they try to act like just because its stronger than its more evil. Sorry, but nobody who grows indoor grows mexican brick. Just be glad that the money is staying in our country and not being exported.

What REALLY cracks me the fuck up is that the people worrying about kids playing in the street with a grow nearby. How the fuck is it hurting kids playing in the street? Do they really think that the growers were going to be setting out in the front yard throwing joints at the five year olds??????? Do you know how kids get pot? They don't buy it. They steal it from their careless parents. Thats how they get it.

As for weed being named AK-47 and bubblegum to entice children to smoke? Give me a fuckin Break. Maybe thats what big tabacco does but no marijuana breeders do that. I hate fuckin reporters who try to sensationalize shit just to make it seem more dramatic and to pull in the ratings. PATHETIC

I'm surprised by the narrow minded thinkin in this thread.Sayin -all- people with guns are killers, and are out ta shoot and hurt people is as stupid as sayin -all- people that smoke and grow are -all- no good dirty drug dealers that are out to fuck up the world! Are you gonna jump on that propaganda band wagon too?!? I didn't think so....The gun thing is jus a ploy ta make things seem worse than they are.Think I'm wrong? jus look at this story in this thread, the guns weren't even there! yet they through it in there...About the 1000 rounds of ammo, the more ya buy the cheaper they are! What's really funny is that the very cheapest ammo ya can buy is fer "assult weapons" because they are mass produced all over the world. The barrels of these guns are lined with chrome alloy so they don't wear out. So,the ammo is cheap and the guns don't wear out,for a poor guy that likes ta shoot this is great thing. But from someone that doesn't understand this or leo's point of veiw ya really look like a menace to society.Even though yer not,it's jus another stereo type. They are not assult weapons ta me,there jus a means ta shoot cheaply.I've had guns all my life as did my father and his before that.Ya know what, all those years and not ONE person has ever been shot, not even on accident.Guns don't kill people, people do... Open yer eyes and rise above the stereo typing bullshit! Take care...BC

Dont want to hijack this thread, but just because you havent accidentally shot someone in your household with your gun(s), doesn't mean it doesn't happen a LOT.

In 1996, 2 people were murdered by handguns in New Zealand, 15 in Japan, 106 in Canada, 213 in Germany, and 9,390 in the United States.

Guns kept in the home for self-protection are 43 times more likely to kill a family member or friend than to kill in self-defense.
(Kellermann and Reay, N.E. Journal of Medicine)

Every two years, more Americans die of gunshot than there were American soldiers killed during the entire Vietnam War
(National Center for Health Statistics, Department of Defense Almanac)

The level of gun ownership world-wide is directly related to murder and suicide rates and specifically to the level of death by gunfire.

Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.

Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.

Maybe you should watch bowling for columbine... it talks about how these countries like canada have tons of guns... they just don't go around killing each other. Its our culture... not the guns.

Without guns our murders would just be more brutal and painful. If you look a little further back in history, you'll see that murder and violence existed long before firearms. It's true.

Tell that to the judge ;)

I will. and they will charge me for the grow,,, but I will be damned if they try and stack a gun charge. Not in my state.

well these people obviously were not personal growers... 1000 bullets as well, most likely not hunters either.
grow and have a gun fine.
grow, sell and have a gun, retarded. i should of made that a little more clear in my first post. :dueling:

What were they? You think they were preparing for the next World War? Who the fuck cares how many bullets he has... Theres no law that states you cant own 1000 bullets, not in my state there isnt. You guys are just as bad as the ppl vilifying MJ users for having 50 plants, 10000's of seeds, and a couple lbs of dry bud. Charge them on the crime they committed, let the jury way the merits of the case, but dont slander the fools because they are gun enthusiasts.

I will never stand for the argument that guns make growers look bad. Its a cop out... Using the guns as a scapegoat,,,, THE GUY WAS SELLING WEED< THATS HIS CRIME.... Not the gun. I agree dont sell weed,,,,, grow you own, but as a home owner do not try and tell me I do not have teh right to be armed. When you outlaw guns only the outlaws will have guns. You think they actually care if they break the law to get a gun? IMO, this negative stigma placed on guns is akin to the negative stigma the media places on MJ users.

Guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.

If you want to talk statistics.... The number one leading cause of death in america is car accidents... drunk driving causes a decent amount of deaths as well,,,,, are all drinkers irresponsible?... if your not on top of your game 100% while driving you can easily cause an accident and take the life of innocent bystander... that being said,,,, with my gun, I will have to take it out of my gunsafe, load a clip, take off the safety, cock the gun, AIM, and shoot. N00bs who blast their own heads off are fucking retarded. ENUF SAID.... Treat every gun likes it loaded. Have RESPECT for firearms (i.e. lock em away if you have children, dont keep em loaded etc...)

i personally don't care if someone wants to defend themselves, they should be able to

but people should expect that when you have a huge grow up, deal it, and then have larges amounts of guns and/or ammo, society as a whole will look down upon you as dirty drug dealers. that's just the way that the majority of this society thinks, unfortunately. the idea of selling drugs while having guns is just one that scares most people, period. it's unfortunate that these people have to have a huge grow op with large amounts of ammo and guns, because as we have seen, society plays the "you dirty drug dealer" routine...and that's ontop of the hype that's already there! damn.

if this were a smaller scale personal grow with guns and lots of ammo it would be a little different, in society's eye. maybe not by much, but a little different. since it's what i assume to be a large scale dealing operation it just looks plain sketchy.

And it was the guns that hurt the MJ movements image? Not the pure number of plants and the fact that they were selling?

in this case i would say yes, the guns hurt us on this one. society is afraid of guns+herbs. especially when the herbs are illegal =(

How is they supposed to defend themselves from getting jacked than? Robbing dealers is the new popular career choice and these guys were just protecting their investment. I'm not mad at them at all.

Also I hate those cows saying "my children were playing on this street". It's not a friggin meth lab, it's not gonna explode. jeez
