Are you able to show pics or a grow report to back up those claims? What was the potency and smell like from sensi's vs your un named other NL's?

Mine look like the old ones in veg.

I have a thread in spanish forum cannabiscafe.net. You can have a look there. There are pictures from six or seven different Sensi plants.

Most of them, expensive garbage. But if you don't trust me, you can have your own bad experience.

Cheers

I know their shiva skunk / super skunk still look good. I have only grown shiva shanti back in 2005, and it was good. I personally think all the kushes and cookies make it a hard sell for sensi, but they have a lot of the old school classics.

I was just looking at a few of there old stuff like Hindu Kush and shiva shanti any 1 no if these are still from the original moms or not there only cheap but I loved these strains back 2000.

Hi

Its very true that since they went from 15 to 10 per pack that finding a keeper becomes more expensive and evasive with 33.34% less population.

I bought some with even 16 seeds...

Apologies if I'm off here, I didn't think Sensi sold a white widow. White label line?

When Nirvana got rid of a lot of strains in 2007/2008, suddenly Sensi had the WL, with more or less equal strains, e.g. the Hollands Hope I grew near Enschede looked very similar to todays photo from WL HH. I think they did a deal with Sensi.

October 2006 close Enschede

HH from DP was worst strain I ever had, leafy, no resin, no taste, no yield, more headache then high. Worse plant than worst KC phenotype. Never buy that fem. version of DP HH.

recently so I grabbed some Sensi Northern Lights to see whats up. I planted a couple to see how they compare to the original offerings.

....

Has anyone grown out any recently that also grew them around 2000 or before?

Yes, I had a lot of Sensi. I've always been a fan of Sensi. I had

reg.

Shiva Shanti 1
Hindu Kush
Early Skunk

fem.

Skunk #1
Super Skunk
ShivaSkunk
BigBud

and

NL

I never had any hermi problems with sensi. Germination rate always 100%. I had good yield, resin, and enogh THC. But for me that is not what quality is today. Today it is about taste and smell and maybe about the high.

The strains I had are simply to boring for me. Big Bud e.g. is sweet and earthy, a little bit skunky weed. Makes you super stoned. Maybe one says I love this strain. I prefer different flavours. I don't enjoy smoking and just getting punched.

Northern Lights is garbage, and not what a NL should be. Their NL takes 10 weeks to mature and is not what expected. I had NL from several seed banks and Sensi's was the worse.

In my opinion this is not that super amazing indica many people think. Reputation is better than the actual weed. It was earthy, little bit sweet. Lots of resin, looking like the pic from Sensi website. High is nothing special. Don't expect too much.

If you ask me, better get some LA Con or try MNS Ortega.

In one month i'm going to try some "old skool" Dutch calssics... i spent many grows with USA breeders seeds in the last years and i'm courious to see the difference.

I'm almost sure i will get more homogeneous plants and phenotipes in Dutch genetics...

But i can't speak now. i have to try.

Here the strains i'm collecting:

Sensi- Super Skunk
Sensi- Jack Flash
Sensi- Afghani 1#
Serious- AK47
Serious- Chronic
GreenHouse- SLH

Let me know what you think and your suggestions for something else.

Just because it's fun to suggest strains:(thinking back to the cannabis cup issues in my old-skool days)

Sensi - fruity juice

Sensi- would suggest NL5/Haze but you have a bit of those genes with the Jack Flash.

Serious: Bubblegum

GHS: Great white shark

Flying Dutchmen: real McCoy

Now i have 1 Super Skunk from sensi under the light + 2 SLH from GH and 2 AK47... under a Gavita 750 DE.

Hope for an old school dutch quality harvest

Thanks for the compliments and rep. I will update in a couple of months and let you know how she turns out after a cure. It's been a pleasure to grow so far. All organic in soil.

I should add that this is a recent seed purchase, within the last 2 years.

Awesome pic.

Looks like a superb haze pheno.

Reminds me those super SLH phenos that can be found.

For those who hates Sensi i popped 1 SuperSkunk and 2 Black Domina, all germinated in 24H

I have been growing this Sensi Skunk #1 since last year. I bought the seeds last year in Amsterdam, was going for that old school herb. Totally got a nice sweet skunk with a nice head and body high. She does take her time finishing, around 11 weeks, but she is the biggest yeilder. I think it just may be strain dependent. some are good and some not so good

I was looking around to find out more about sensi's genetics. Not really sure after reading most of the stuff above.
So, if you are like me, and happen to live in Spain, there's a magazine (C****o) that's giving a 5 pack of mixed regulars from Sensi. I went through a stack of the magazines and found one with 7 seeds :D And i paid 4.95.

Just wanted to share that with other growers. You guys might want to give it a go before buying their wares.

i was sensi seeds fan for long time. early skunks, super skunks, shiva skunks were all i grew from 1997 season and till 2006 i think it was bomb. after they changed from 15 seeds pack for 10 seeds pack, genetics went downhill.. now instead of those skunks im growing sour diesel and its even much better than those old skunks. cheers p.s. sensi seeds skunk 1 was always more ghani dom :D even back in the days. blue cheesy and homeless socks, livers aftertaste, muddy stoned.

The free seeds on the cover of Canamo are a bit of an institution here, many campo farmers in Lejolandia do not make the trip to growshops in the cities, they buy 10 copies of Canamo... So you see local newsagents in the middle of bumfuck nowhere with 3 copies of Hola ! ... 5 of Futbol bla bla, and 200 copies of Canamo stacked up...
