Sensi Seeds' recent quality

I am not surprised with the indoor mix. It is very cheap for 40 beans and obviously old stock. It has been known for a long time that their bulk mixes are from old stock and have low germ rates. It is possible to get lucky and score a killer female though if youve got the space that is.

Let me make this clear to the rest of you... Sensi Seeds = waste of money. Do not blow your hard earned money on them, theres plenty of better breeders out there who have a better product for cheaper.

I think I got the answers I need.

For now I will be watching this site for others who order from Sensi, and see what their results are. I think by the time I'm ready for my next order of seeds (probably a year down the road) I will have a much better idea of where things stand, and can make a better informed decision.

Right now it's going to be the Sour Diesel IBL ; I have the order form made out already, envelope addressed and stamped, and just waiting for the money order to get stuffed in as soon as my Hashberry order arrives!

Dont worry about SmokeRings - some people just plain suck at cultivatiopn and need a scapegoat to help make themselves feel better about their own failures. sensi do have the best genetics, they happen to behave like crooks sometimes, and sell you bad seeds.
I dont think you can go wrong with super skunk, orange bud, afghani, shiva, or kush, they are pretty cheap and still top notch strains imo.

Update: 2 more germing seeds failed... un-fucking believable.. out of 15, im down to 5 beans now- only 2 of the 10 ive germed thus far have made it to sprouting. The average response is to send out .3 cm of the taproot, then just stall and do nothing. I might as well flush $10 down the toilet for every seed that failed. Im going to cross my fingers for 1 male and hopefully 1 good female from this batch, and make some F2's, and give em free of charge to whoever is interested.

I've never had experience with Sensi Seeds. But as for MY opinion...Rez is using their Hindu Kush to make his kush strains, so they can't be all that bad.

Thats exactly what crooked breeders like to do, any time they hear complaints, they immediately blame the grower and try to discredit him. What do I have to lose if others go buy from sensi seeds? where was this thread a month ago.... before i bought a pack of black dominca??... i've just started 6 beans (the others are held in reserve). i'll post the outcome of how many sprout/etc.

i've done a lot of reading on this site, and the consesus was/is that b.d. is kick-ass weed...here's hoping...

unfortunately buying seeds can be a crap shoot. i got a few genetics from the boutique a month or so ago.

from paradise seeds i had 10 out of 10 sensi star pop but only 3 of the swiss bliss. i pulled out those that didn't pop. the inside of the seed is brown and dead. i've popped hundreds of seeds and know what i'm doing. luck of the draw sometimes.

Thanks for adding that. But when there's a reputation (or long trend) based on it, it may be a different story...

What a lot of people don't realize is the fact that this is precisely the case for male / female ratio (although I understand that certain environmental or other conditions can have some influence).

I don't know how many times I've seen someone say something like "I popped 10 seeds and 8 were male. Never ordering from them again." But if you know anything about probability / statistics, you'll realize that this can happen.

Simplified: colored (say red and blue) marbles in a container. 5,000 of each (we're assuming 50/50 here). Pick a random 10 at random w/o peeking in any way. Can you guarantee that you'll get 5 red, 5 blue every time? Or will you sometimes get 8 of one color? Or... *gasp*... 10 of one?

I am currently on my second seed selection from the Sensi Seedbank. I tried out the hashplant in 2002, got 12 seeds from Kind Seed co, 11 sprouted, 6 females. Uniformity was excellent, potency was impressive, wish I had kept my beloved picture plant. 2005, had a friend score me some seeds from the Bank in A'Dam of the Mr. Nice, I miss my hashplant and why not up the potency too huh? Well I may have gotten the the 15 seed breeder pack but only 7 sprouted this time, 2 females, kinda stings after shelling out the top dollar. Haven't yet flowered Mr. nice yet but I am still not fretting, their quality was great before, why not now? Only thing that I don't like is the top dollar for only 2 females. I will buy another pack or two to eventually get a great mom but 1 pack is a start for now.

Does Sensi Seeds deliver to the mainland? If not where can I get them for less than the usual super-tax?

lately ive been germing my beans in a sandwiche box the clear food container type with the lid off
soak my rockwool in tap water make a new hole in each rw cube 1cm place bean in cover with another piece of rockwool i take that off the side of the cube place on top, then put the food container on my tv water the cubes lightly evry 2 days they pop theyre heads up from 3 days on


i have 2 aero cloners and i have germed in soil and i swear i get 100% germ rate every pack using a food container rw cubes and my tv i never had 100% using my aero's or soil each to theyre own i guess but this works real good for me

i recently started 7 indoor mix and 7 double gums from a recent sensiseeds purchase(about 2 months ago)

12 of 14 popped, and i've kull'd to 8 that are strong and healthy. In comparison i germed 7 MOD godbud x dreamweaver all 7 popped and they are hearty and consistent as hell(freebee)

Thats close to what im getting. Yet another seedling stunted randomly today. In a fit of rage I threw the remaining seeds into a dish, all I want now is one male and one female to make some F2's. After I do, if ANYONE wants black domina seeds, hit me up ill send them out to ya free of charge, fuck sensi seeds. I have a feeling the other guy germing his BD is going to have the same experience

But, how could this be?? Unless they're simply old stock stored improperly or made some terrible fuck-ups in creating seeds, I don't understand how germination rates could be so (supposedly) bad across many different strains. But I do recall the discussion I mentioned originally, about their reputation / service (or lack thereof): one guy mentioned that while at Sensi's shop in A'dam the guy behind the counter just grabbed a pack of seeds from some dusty wooden drawer. Or was it a dusty pack of seeds from a regular drawer? I don't remember that detail...

No clue man but if it was a 20 dollar pack Id say fuck it no biggie, but their beans dont come cheap, so for that price this shit shouldnt be an issue... Ill bet you anything if someone goes over to his forums and tells him, they're gonna get banned and he's gonna do the same thing that fucktard did here, blame the grower and say it cant be my seeds you obviously did something wrong

oh and to the guy who said buying seeds is a crapshoot, yeah its a crap shoot if you're dealing with shady breeders, quality breeders can stand by their seeds.
