Would switch them from 18 to 13 hours of light after that at my latitude there is an average light increase of 2.7 minutes per day and a Peak daylengh of 16.5 hours at Summer solstice
Thx will try that out. Wanted to put them directly into the GroundIf there in rootbound and you don't feed them nitrogen and don't let soil stay wet they should be fine. Itll extend their flowering time the rising light hours. Photoperiods model atm is wrong, its about the plants auxins, low auxins it'll stay flowering. If you give it space to grow moist soils and a lot of nitrogen it might reveg after the initial shock of going into flowering halfway.
Theres a lot of variables ive had bad luck putting potting soil into native soil, if their similar soils your good but different types don't mix well in my experience. Either way you will learn, and if they take a bit longer to flower so be it, I doubt they will go back into veg once their going strong just don't feed the extra N,Thx will try that out. That’s a good question, there’s one way to find out . I think there’s a good chance they will finish before revegging how many hours of light do you have at the summer solstice ? I figure that’s about when they would be finishing My Beldia triggers to start flowing at 14.45 hours here at july 15 . It would be really Cool if you just did it to find out . Might be a good idea to put them on 13 hours now if you can …..Edit….. I am going to try it start some Beldia today under my lights (6-18) and put them on out May 1 and see what happens. I’ve been craving some fresh BeldiaHey guys didnt read thrue all five pages but have a quick question at hand: Im currently growing RSC's Syrian which should have these semi-auto traits. Right now they are indoors under 18/6. If move them outdoors in the next few weeks there would be around 13 hours of light which should trigger flower.
Now to my question: would they reveg with the hours of light rising in the next few months or keep on flowering?

I forgot leave alot of banana peels things high in ethylene around plant to keep on flowering as well that will help. And as well if it starts getting too comfortable stress her out if you have to keep her in flower, let her go too dry or bend some of the branches. Make the plant need to focus on preservation over growth.Thx will try that out. Wanted to put them directly into the Ground![]()
Nice man! Mine are two weeks of age. Will give them three more weeks of veg and then move them outside. Excited to see your Beldia! That’s a good question, there’s one way to find out . What kinda veg lighting are you using?Nice man! Mine are two weeks of age. Will give them three more weeks of veg and then move them outside. Excited to see your Beldia!
LED Sanlight Evo 200 W. I use it for the whole Life cycle in different intensities. Thought about getting something cheap for vegging but kinda broke at the moment. What kinda veg lighting are you using?
Your going to increase auxins going from 200w led to sunlight outdoors, the sunlight is much stronger I imagine. But not sure., I think because there such short flowering in general you might be okay it's not a simple question to answer because their are alot of variables to address. One grower could put it out in a small pot and stress it and have it stay flowering using same light in same location where another growers happy plant will reveg.LED Sanlight Evo 200 W. If theirs a way you can wait and veg longer closer to solstice ide recommend, you have a lot of things working against you. Keeping it flowering cleanIts full spectrum but a little bit on the red side as far as I know
Thank you for all the good information! If theirs a way you can wait and veg longer closer to solstice ide recommend, you have a lot of things working against you. Keeping it flowering clean
It will still flower when putting out closer to solstice with higher hours and the plant will be healthier it'll be a smoother transition from 18/6 it will be slower onset than 18/6 to 13/11 but the plant will finish faster and have leas stretch. Bigger yield.Thank you for all the good information!
So you are saying that the hours of sunlight which would be greater closer to the solstice don't matter that much but the light intensity does?
Ha ! I am not much of an indoor grower and old school. iI just got some fluorescents hanging in the bacement . They work great for revegging , hanging on to mother plants , taking cuttings and starting seeds .What kinda veg lighting are you using?
Could be a thing ,spring cropping semi autos ! I’m curious what latitude you are at I’m at 40 N. If you keep them in till around the solstice it will definitely work amd you will get a bigger crop no doubt but that’s not the plan right ? you could take a few cuttings now and do both. Just started soaking some Beldia seed now .Nice man! Mine are two weeks of age. Will give them three more weeks of veg and then move them outside. Excited to see your Beldia!
Unfortunately i will be travelling in the summer months. Therefore i will have to follow thrue with my original plan. Keen to find out if it works out...Rajas in a.germany didn't have an issue after solstice with onset of his beldia which is similar conditions and latitude to Sonia, the more red the lowering light hours will all help it switch nicely.

That sounds great! I would love to see them finish under the summer sun! Do you think one could breed to transfer this semi-auto trade on a tropical sativas? It triggers flowering by:
- root restriction
- probably at 1m size
- deminishing daylight hours
- indoors 15:45h daylight or less
stops flowering/reveg/prevents flowering:
- 18+ hours of light
- trimming roots
- shortening it to below 1m size
In your case I believe it will start flowering because of low daylight hours and it will continue to flower no matter what else happens, due to root restriction and overall size of the plant.
I flowerered my semi auto Beldia one or two months before summer solstice because i triggered by root restriction. I repoted it into 15L (from .5L) and I had a circus with 24h of light across the street, so it reveged for a month or so. But it started flowering again after the circus was moving to the next location (reveg light was gone). New flower triggers were probabably summer solstice, size of the plants (1.1-1.2m) and later also root restriction. Despite the heavy light pollution on my belcony it finished ritght on time at the very beginning of september.
