I have started flushing the larger girl getting her ready to be harvested. She has only received water and molasses for a week now. She has gotten pretty fat and I am looking forward to cutting her down. I have been out of smoke since the first of September except what little popcorn bud she had under the canopy. I am planning on taking her till November 6th and then she will be chopped.

The smaller girl has really taken off. She is going strong and each budsite is developing well. I will be giving her nutes right up until the end since I will be water curing her. Her last watering will be just water and molasses a couple days before pulling her. Here are some more pics.

Here they are back in the cab. I mounted my fan up on the wall to free up some floor space.

They are lookin good grouchy! Let us know how that water cure goes, I'm very interested in doing this for stealth reasons.

Nice grow grouchy, nice acid cigar box, what was in there blondies?? those drew estate cigars are what got me started smoking cigars, i prefer padrons and gurhkas now though. Drew Estate Naturals-Dirt is a very good cigar nice and creamy like hazlenut in there too, like that drew/rocky patel - Java also very nice, both 5$ a stick.

I used to smoke the Blondies and I wish I still could. I quit smoking cigarettes over 3 years ago and I don't trust myself with any tobacco anymore. I have heard from a couple different people that cigars led them back to smoking after they had quit. Its alright though because who needs a cigar when you got good pot.:smoker:

A little update for you that are following along

I am excited that I will be harvesting very soon. It will be on Friday or Monday that she comes down. She is starting to show her fall colors and looks nice. She has six colas left and all the undergrowth and popcorn has been removed and smoked.

The other girl is getting bigger everyday. I took a couple pictures of her as well. The last pic is looking up from the side and make her look like one big single cola plant.

Thanks for the compliments from all of you. I am having a hard time pulling the plug on the first one yet. I originally wanted to bring her down on the 6th but decided to wait till the 9th to chop. After looking at her this morning she has begun to stack on some weight even though she has been getting flushed for 2 1/2 weeks.

I am trying to decide what to do with her. I would like to cut her down but she keeps on growing. I will need to have it figured out soon as I will be leaving for a ten day trip in 2 weeks and I can not take her with me. The sooner I cut the more cure time she will have before I leave but I think she is begging for her life by getting fatter every day.

The other plant is going strong but will need to be cut by the 16th or the 17th to get the water cure before we go. I am not flushing this plant at all and will be giving her nutes up until the scissors come out. I am hoping a 7 day water cure will clean her up well and I will get the strongest growth from her during her limited growing time. I am wanting to try out the stealthy tasteless smoke that the water cure will give the bud.

Anyone have any better ideas? I am open to any suggestion on how you might handle the situation and I will discuss anything that I think will work for me.

grouchy, do you have a microscope? I don't completely base my harvesting on trichome colouring, but it does give you a good indication on how far along the plant is.

Anyways, great looking plants! I'm looking forward to hearing the dry weight :joint:

Yes I do. I have been checking the trics and they are mostly cloudy and still a little clear. I know I am not going to get much for amber trics but I will just have to make do. I thought about leaving it running while I am gone but I do not want to do that at this time.

You know what my two favorite things in the growing world are? Ceramic metal halides and micro grows. And you've put them together grouchy!! the plants look awesome and I've yet to see a CMH utilized on a micro scale. Do you feel like the CMH has given you frostier nugs than the HPS or is it about the same?

It's always hard when the plants are nearing harvest but if you think waiting will give you some more weight then I'd wait. Personally though I can't wait to see the dry weights and harvest pics of these girls. Great job and great cab man.

Never had the chance to do a side by side comparison between a cmh and a hps. I am very happy with the results I have received from this grow and will try and fill the cab up more on the next run.

I really couldn't wait much longer because of a trip I have planned and the big one came down today. I will post up some pictures later.
