Somehow, I know, soon, you'll be looking for, "just a little", more space". Keeping it full.. I'm sure you'll manage.
Bigger or more lights!? HAHA!

I am postive, this summer its going to be hard to keep this tent full. I currently only have (2) 2x2 and a 3x3 table with vegetative matter. This will not support filling a 5x10. Ive got (2) other 3x3, but only a few smart pot girls to sit on them. I need to do some transplants, buy more coco, a million other things too..

More lights once i run more power!

Sealed tent? I didn't think one could 'seal' a tent. am I being to litteral about 'sealed room'?
>and snaking the ducting on the floor. whats that for?

When i used the phase, 'trying to create basically' i was alluding to the (at best) semi-sealing of any tent. Im sure it wont be perfect, but if i can seal the ventilation, and pull air from outside the tent to cool the lights, there will be basically no exhaust needed for the tent itself. I'll just pump the bitch up with CO2, and wait for it to seep out the zippers...

Snaking the exhaust ducting on the floor is just the best place to put it in my setup. From the top of the tent, though a cool tube, down to the floor, snaking along the back wall, up though another cool tube, and up out another port.

Im also filling this bitch with strawberry plants, they take up almost no room, and their short vertical profile makes them perfect.

If I am looking at the pics correctly, I like how those 2 beams on the top are connected to support beams on the side so they can't move. In my Jardin DarkRoom I have a problem where the top support beams tend to move around depending on how things are hung from them. Like the 2 that run from front to back have pulled themselves to within about 3 inches of each other because my light is hanging on them. I'm considering drilling small holes in them next time to stick some bolts through. I just worry about reducing the structural integrity by doing that... Maybe if I put a rubber or other non-slippery pad between them and zip tied them together it would work.

I used zipties in my DR... just zipped the beams together where they crossed one another.

It was enough to stop sagging and pulling... but my reflector was probably entirely different than yours.

I vote for - Duct tape and zipties to secure it - FTW

Anything that is stitched (every tent) is going to have a few pinholes.

Inside the closed tent, it's darker than a moonless night.:blowbubbles:

Yeah, $1400 is a lot (it actually cost me $1260ish; 10% off), however it replaced (2) 4'x4' tents and a 3.25'x3.25' tent. If you do the math, thats about the same sqft. Having 1 flowering chamber instead of 3 = priceless.

My energy level has been down, ill get some pics up when i can.

I love those Intense tents.
They are very loved in Holland and are designed for our market about 4 years back.
It is great to see that growers all over the world are using them.:jump:
I really like the 10x20 size (3x6mtr).

This goes against the back wall, behind the reservoir.

Keeping the lighting system sealed (as shown) creates too much humidity, ive bought a small dehuey (with hose attachment), but havent plugged it in yet.

Will be back with more details later.

So... lets see.. some info.

That 8" exhaust manifold is not in use. It worked too well, and when in use, the rH inside the tent gets > 88%. Walls dripping, no Ca uptake, no thanks. I tried to stick a small dehuey in there (30pt, with hose attachment so i didnt have to empty it) but the temps got over 90F. The room this flowering tent is in has an AC and the room is 73-77F.

As far as equipment.
(2) 600w HPS. One is an Elux and i believe the other is a Sun Master.
A 6" Sun Tube and an 8" Cool Tube.
(2) EYE Horitlux Bulbs
(2) sets of Rope Ratchets
(8) Botanicare 22"x22"x7" flood tables
(16) 5Gal buckets for proven keepers.
3Gal Smart Pots for first timers, and girls i want a second look at.
40 Gal Botanicare reservoir
1/2 feed lines and 3/4 return lines.
(4) 606 aquarium pumps. There are four feed lines, each servicing two tables (the smart pots are hand watered).
Bamboo Stakes and Zip Ties. I create a bamboo trellis.
Hemp twine to help combat the sucking in of the tent caused by the negative pressure, created by the single Stanley fan i use to exhaust the tent.
(The twine/cord also serves as a place to tie off of. The plants naturally pull the trellis forward towards the light, tying off to the outside perimeter of the tent helps keep things nice and open.)
(3) Oscillating fans, although the two weakest (in the back) no longer move without clicking, so they stay stationary. i need to replace them before the summer is over, because they are hard to find 'out of season'.
Mini milk crates. I think they were marketed for organizing a school locker, they are roughly 6" x 8" x 5", and are perfect for varying height.

I reuse my coco, which is a 90:10 mix of fine botanicare and bio bizz coco : #4 chunky fox farm perlite. I seem to always be expanding, so im always adding new coco to the mix. Earth worm casting and Plant Success granular myco too.

My current cocktail consists of GH Flora series micro and bloom. 6+9.
2-7mL/Gal of hygrozyme, because i reuse the substrate
1-2mL/Gal of Technaflora Thrive Alive Green
2-5mL/Gal General Organic Black Diamond (4% humic)
0.25-0.5mL/Gal SM-90
5mL/Gal ProTek Si

Im trying to harvest 4 tables every month/five weeks, right now its 3 and 5.

I'm curious how your going to cool that tent with 2 600. With a single 600 bare bulb vertical I can see my setup struggling when the real heat of summer sets in. At 68f ambient in the containing room the tent stays at 77f. As temps rise, then comes the AC.
Sometimes when it rains the dehui may have to come on, but that's only in the winter.

By the way, I'm running a 5X10 ebay tent that's about half as nice as yours.

tent is identical to mine except im runnin 1k's and bare bulbin a few 400's to help my humidity prob. but one thing i can relate with you is i know how much of a bitch it was to put that all together especially in a tight spot lol....I felt I could master the balance beam at the Olympics when i was done...no country...team 420!!
hahaha good job so far though they are lookin monster, hope all goes well. keep it up doc.

What is that in your very last pic on your smart pot that's to the left of the big white container? It looks like it could just be salt build up maybe ? I noticed some of that on one of my smart pots awhile ago.

Good job !
