yo i actually spent 600$ on everything bluejay and coot told me tooXD this soil is shit and is NOT my no till! this is my second organic run in the easy bake soil. i have everything from basalt rock dust to tmz7XD i read bluejays thread from start to finish twice while taking notesXD im also following growmau5 and green gene and im going to build my own led light. i just recieved my hlg240h driver this morning. this is my life. cannabis is my everything! that and of course some tryptamines and phenethylamines ;) this round is here because i had some of the easy bake left so i used that hoping it would be good.a my proper soil is not mixed up yet because my source for top ewc is screening material for me... but im going to mix up a 65 gallon no till pot and the soil mix will be EXACTLY the same as bluejays thread on grasscity. well not exactly, a few changes that he recommendedXD i also have an amazing line up of varietys im going to throw down for you guys over the next few years! i have a few breeding plans i want to do once i get my no till skills down pat...i cant wait to get it started...youll see it in the next few months for sure!|

much love

haha read BJW's thread twice AND took notes! that's what i'm talking about homie!

keep nuturing that excitement and passion and you're gonna be crazy successful.

i only use molasses in my compost tea. it's also helpful for a quick way to neutralize chlorine and chloramines for situations where that is necessary, like foliar application of beneficial nematodes.

im ordering a few cubic feet of ewc from reindeer naturals and im going to set up either a 100 or 65 gal no till depending on how tall they are:)

im more excited for that no till then i was for christmas being 10 years oldXD

i actually have a 100gal here. its taller then 12 inch though maybe like 20. and with training she will do perfectly fine in a 7 foot tent. unless i dare to grow purple haze in there;) theres a reason i bought tikal instead of the guatamala sativa from ace seedsXD

that's what i use is the taller one. i just thought the smaller sided one would work better in door as i grow trees out side. i do grow the purple haze x malawi that was 14' last season topped

You look like your on the right path. Thoes plants seem to be looking a little better then the first pictures.

It's amazing how long it takes some plants to come.around after getting hurt up.

I find minimizing the amount of growing tip to a few concentrated ones helps them pull out faster.

Nice mulch with some little guys popping out, that will help the soil food web make short work of the top-dress.

When you are noticing new growth removing some of the real Dead leaves help the plant and also make you feel better about it. Closing that chapter of the plants life.

these plants are beasts. they can grow threw anything and come out fine. mulched with trim and clover seeds. i noticed today they are looking a lot better. general vibe in the room felt better also. once i get this VC down i think she will start looking better. its funny. for how bad they look everyday i come in and they are praying and have lots of new growth. gotta tie down the main stock every other day. its got that sativa strechiness to it forsure!

thanks:) all the love

Good to hear they are on the rebound lotus. The easybake was a nice start to bring me over to organics but it is certainly not perfect. I havent had the same issues as you but that may be due to the quality of the EWC. My biggest grips is how N heavy easybake is. I am noticing it again this round in that there are more tiny leaves poking out of buds. Not so much clawing.

I still have half an easybake bag left but I think I will just start putting together my own mixes once that is gone.

All the best in getting these ladies into flower.

Thanks bmac:) its def due to the compost. Ewc is super important! Im getting 5 cu ft of VC from reindeer naturals! Made with cow manure. Looks and smells amazing in my free sample. Ill post a pic of it when i get off work:) easybake is great to get anyone started with organics.

Hah I was just going to ask if you could post a picture of the VC. I've been curious about RN's VC ever since I noticed they advertised it as 3-3-3.

Cow poop eh? Did you talk to them? Are they fortifying it?

Looks much more natural that the dried pellet sand I buy.

i spoke to him about the vermicompost before he sent me a free sample. he told me that they used to use a certain thermal compost until they smartened up and figured out what was being put into it. since then they have switched over to a local dariy farm for their aged manures. he called it vermicompost and not ewc which is a good thing. i dont think he was tryna make it look any better. the guys at reindeer naturals are always trying to help me without buying anything from them first, and if i still need to they are there to supply:) he even wanted me to get that free sample and try it before i order 5 cu ft for my no till.

i hope everyones having a good sunday! ill be in hashchurch for the next 4 hrs:)

Much love

thanks dude. things are looking a lot better now. im kinda stunned that shit was fucked so hard and popped back like nothing happened with some stuff i bought at the feed storeXD more pics gettin put up here soon. i think its because the soil was sitting around for half a year and ended up drying out. i just top dressed with the amended VC then mulched with more trimmings:) the MB tea is ready now so ima go water take some pics and ill be back:)

How did you know my favorite kind of porn...does that make me weird?

Fin' sweet dude. Now it looks like you can just add water sit back and enjoy the ride. Maybe a little structural manipulation and your good. (Not saying I see a issue)

I have found you can make a shitty soil great if you follow a few simple steps. Maintaining a balence is important. A soil test will help if you go off the deep end with something but if you start with a fairly balanced base, you just need life from there.

Getting the soil food web cranking with meals, mulches, compost/vc and act will help build a healthy plant which in turn feeds the soils sugars and carbon. The plant will introduce a fair amount of sugars into the soil the help build complex humic structures that have been show to last longer then the ones made during composting.

A base is a base, some are better the others and encourage a strong soil food web from the start and some are less successful but all can be made great with a little know how.

This thread is a great example of picking up on the knowledge how to harness the soil food web and nuture it.

Lotus looking great. Your in for a life of stress free growing, well as far as soil and plant health go.
