Child predator arrested at O'Hare

A man flying in from Turkey Friday afternoon with a layover at O'Hare International Airport decided to allegedly meet with a 14-year-old girl he had chatted with on the Internet. Unfortunately for the man, the girl he thought he was communicating with was actually an officer with the Cook County Sheriff's police.

Members of the Cook County Sheriff's Police Child Exploitation Unit arrested Benerto M. Angel, 41, without incident as he was de-boarding his flight from Turkey, according to Cook County Sheriff's police spokeswoman Penny Mateck.

The engineer, originally from Anchorage, Alaska, had been communicating through the Internet with a girl he believed to be 14-years-old for two weeks, Mateck said. The man had arranged with the girl to meet him at the international terminal after 2:20 p.m., and the minor was to give him oral sex.

Angel was supposed to have a 3.5-hour layover at O'Hare before flying to Seattle, Washington, Mateck said. Mateck didn't know whether the two were planning to leave the airport with each other or attempt fulfill the sexual act in the airport.

Angel is being held at the Cook County Sheriff's police headquarters in Maywood.

He is set to appear for a Bond hearing Saturday morning at the Cook County Criminal Courthouse.

yes,that does suck Tngreen...
when i first started growing i thought i was so cool.showing my friends my grow and what not..but then i would think..well what if they got caught with something and to get out of their predicument they would roll on me...luckily that never happened.
so now i show no one,tell no one and every security precaution i can think of is utillized..i dont even allow the few friends i have to step into my home...
i rather be alone and safe then to go back up the river..

FullMonty has it right that the cops crowing is all about credit. The cops who can make the most and biggest busts get the most in funds from the feds(DEA) for more cop toys and more officers.

This is big business, not only for the drug dealers, but for the cops as well. In Cali where we have med scripts, the cops are supposed to follow Cali law, but they get cross sworn as DEA agents so that they can follow federal law. The San Diego Sheriffs dept. that busted my son were cross sworn as DEA agent just for this particular raid. Happens all the time. My son was Prop 215, but had too many plants. Bingo, 2 felony charges. Fortunately they charged him in State Court.

Maybe someday, we will all learn about the new Cannaroid, a steroid for plants that turns a 2 foot plant into a 2 lb. producing monster with 40% THC. The cops and media seem to think that something like this exists.I wish to hell I could find it(I would share with you guys)

sorry to hear of your sons run in..but at least he's in a friendly state..
it is always a joke how the man always embellishes there finds..like they dicovered some new super canna...i think i'l pass on the cannaroid...already have enough hidden rage..LOL.
in my area they now have FLIR mounted on a couple of suv's..
