Hey all, happy holidays. My present to you all is a big update with lots of pictures. I also updated the OP with my newest setup, ect. Basically a lot of stuff i've been meaning to do for awhile.

Just to catch anybody up or anybody new, this is day 3 of flowering for the big girls. So far there has been a growth explosion, the tent is filling out nicely and i've raised the light a tad. The waterings are increasing to about every other day/3 days now and preflowers are just beginning to form.

All of the skunk crosses are a couple days old now, workign on their second set of leaves. What i was left with:

4 unknown Bag Seed
3 Kandy Kush X Skunk
4 (3 true, 1 mislabled) OG18 x Skunk
3 Sleestack X Skunk

Luv the pics :)

If you want to get digi shots with a better colour temperature, you should try manually reading the light levels for the shot ( you do this in the custom menu you choose which lighting type it is ) Either that or the sunlight settings works best. Auto will get confused.

Looks good, but I would try to get all the plants on the same canopy level. That way they are all getting the same concentration of lumens from the light.

Yeah, that damn sativa pheno rocketed up there. I could top it but i would be taking half the plant away, the loss would be huge. What do you guys think?

I don't suppose i could slather the base in rooting hormone and try to make that a giant clone could i? haha.

Well sense your not Scrogging, you should be able to just put the shorter plants on some type of platform to get them even with the sativa pheno?

Day 9 of flower! Everything is looking great inside the tent, it's filling out nicely inside, and the ladies are showing their lady parts. The Lemon skunk that was rocketing out of control got pinched about halfway through the plant, making all potential budsites very happy. So far it's my largest plant in the tent because it got a bit of special treatment because i didn't want to top it. Besides blowing a bulb recently, everything is going well, my only concern is light penetration which i'll probably scratch my head over for a few days. Always open to comments/suggestions as always.

12/31 Happy new years eve, stay safe everyone!

Today i took all the plants outside of their home and gave them a nice photo session, i am getting increasingly annoyed with my camera, i can't seem to be getting the photos i want. I guess i'm pressing too hard to try to get the tiniest traits in a picture for you guys to see. The lemon skunk is absolutely a MONSTER! I will be growing this strain for quite awhile, i've already ordered some super lemon haze to try.

The plant has about 10 large sites potential for cola size buds and it's the fasest maturing out of all the plants in the tent. The main cola is already slathered with pistols and fulling out more and more each day and this isn't even week 2! Obviously the real test is yet to come, but i couldn't be more impressed by these genetics! The white widow is probably doing the worst, which has been a steady change for quite awhile now. I'm not thrilled with this particular pheno, the leaves are so fat it's almost a tast to try to fold them into the foliage for light penetration. Not to metion it had a few of it's leaves shrivel and die recently, but i think this is just from damage from moving the plants around, i'm not sweating anything yet. The plant has shown very minimal signs of sex so it's a week or so behind the LS.

Let's see what else.... i upgraded all the cups to 1 gallon bags, this is my first time using bags and i love them, i will proably use bags from now on! There is little to report from the smaller skunk crosses, they received their first taste of nutients, a mild general purpose doage, they seem to have handled it fine. I think these guys are growing even faster than my previous generation. Also at the moment i'm strapped for room, my flower tent is more than full, my veg tent is full so i had to move some plants over to my minicap which i've slowly been remodeling. Lots of action to report in the next couple weeks, stay tuned.

Last but not least, i've also popped quite a few seeds i got from a friend of mine, supposedly they're lemon-g, the "good pheno" so we'll see where that takes me. Also i've ordered some more beans to play with, look for the church, purple widow, SLH and purple haze to be added to the grow soon!

1/1 Happy new year!

Happy 2010 follow growers, fans and followers. I was able to snap some pictures while the lights were off, these are a much better look at the actual flowering shots. Got a few closeups for ya, much more of that will be coming in the future! As for a garden update, everything is trucking along. The girls are rapidly flowering, the skunks are vigorously, even the seeds are enjoying life!

Lemon Skunk in flower, this is mid-late week 2. She's getting really frosty, really early. I love checking this girl first thing in the morning i'm always impressed.

Power Kush coming along, very healthy

This is supposedly the offspring of a very healthy lemon G that's been circulating the area, these were gifted to me from a friend of a friend. Supposedly this is cutting edge shit. We'll see, won't bother hyping it yet. They will probably go into soil tomorrow.

Evening icmaggers, i've been busy! Today i put 32, count em, thirty-two Lemon G seeds into my clone/propagation cab. If you're wondering what that is, it's basically an old minicap that i work on every now and then, it's had many versions over it's existance, right now it has three shelves and 4 CFLs putting out about 150ws. I plan to keep the strongest 5 or so to play around with. If you're wondering about Lemon G, it's a very popular area strain that smells and tastes like lemon drops. There is a particular 'lemon pledge' pheno that everyoen is after, my chances of finding it is slim due to space restrictions.

My big girls are just beginning week 2 of flower and have probably stretched a foot or two, stupidly i haven't been keeping height measurments on this particular grow. The tallest cola is just over 3 feet to give you a perspective.

As for my skunks, i've already pitched two. Remember the garbage soil i told you i had to use for two of them? Yep, plants hated it and i ended up pitching it. Now it's not the soil's fault completely, after i mixed it i left it in cold temps uncovered and i'm sure mold/insects and god knows what crept in. I'm down to 11 skunks, these are merely just a test drive to see if i can find anything i like. I will probably also experiment on a few of them.

Overnight update on the lemonG, this was right before they went into cups.

1/3 Good morning everyone i'm up too early

Well it hasn't even been 12 hours since the newest babies went into soil and we already have 1 fully above ground and one struggling for it's live! LG7 is completely above ground and has shook it's shell making it one of the fastest germination i've personally experienced, while LG16 is partially above ground. Over the next 36 hours we should see lots more poking through.

I topped about half of the skunks, they're stressing at the moment but they'll be fine once they realize what happened and kick the factory back into high gear. As for the big girls, they're still sleeping for another 5ish hours, we'll see if any big updates are on their way when they wake up.

I'm very curious about that Lemon G. Do you happen to know the genetics? The taste/smell that you described sounds like Super Lemon Haze. Do you plan on keeping a cutting of the best tasting/smelling pheno? If so, you should grow one out, make some seeds, and send some this way!! lol...great work man.. We are gonna grow some veggies/fruits outside this spring, and I have convinced my wife that I need a small cab to germinate and make sure the veggies/fruits seedlings are strong enough to make it outside...and this means I will be able to keep clones among other things in there :)

Those two girls have some major internode stretch...hopefully it will fill up with one huge donkey dick cola!

Great work!

Right on man! I was actually thinking about how you said you were thinking about going tents. The more i thought about it, the more sense it made to just buy one tent or make one cab to keep cuttings/clones/seeds/early veg in and have the entire outside area flower. That way you could make the most of your room, either way i'm excited for you! Definitely keep us posted on both sites.

As for the lemon G, basically as far as i know it's a lemon skunk x g13 cross, the g13 being the momma i believe. It's been around here for a decade or two, the beans that i got my hands on were supposedly a hermied female that was stabilized through some backcrossing and inbreeding so it's technically still a true stable cross. I would say that it's probably a shot in the dark that this is gonna be the real lemon g, but we'll see. I will definitely know if i see it, i'm super excited because this is bomb shit around here. I had to make some future promises i wasn't sure about for these beans to try lol.

I will definitely keep you in mind as far as testing goes :D
