BorkBorkBork - I always make a point to clear any new growth that won't make it above half the height of the plant right before i flower. What i'm left with now i plan to keep, so what ya see is what ya get! If the bottoms aren't done when the tops are i'll just lower the lamp and leave the lower bud sites intact. I don't think it'll be a problem though, hasn't been yet!

But to answer your real question, my 400W will only penetrate to about halfway through my tent.

Day 18 of Flower

The White Rhino, at about week 7ish? It's really kind of mucking along slow.

2/14 Flower Day 20

A lot of updates lately, enjoy it while it lasts . I snapped a few pics of the ladies right before they woke up this morning, lots of white popcorn starting to show up in the tent, very pleased. They are flowering quite fast, and the smell of opening up the tent is deadly.

Here are a few shots of the biggest of my veg tent. Super Lemon Haze and Purple Lady. The node branching on SLH is amazing. I rarely see plants that's shoots outgrow the top growing tip. This is my first time with this strain, and it's super healthy. The purple lady has a faint skunky berry smell and is just beginning to work on those nodes.

Very Very Healthy plants Bro. Just came back from a Boarding trip. Must say these are lookin amazin!! Cant wait to throw up the HPS and get my ass to it. So what kind of soil are we using?? ANd nnep how do you like the grow bags? I dont really Care much about them, thought they would be better but not for me.

Boarding eh? I love skiing myself, i haven't been in for absolutely forever though.. watching these olympics has made me want to get out and go.

Also i thought you received you HPS already? And i use Fox Farm Ocean Soil with a touch of perlite added.

you only used 1/2 gallon of soil... it looks like they served you well for an autoflower!

Missed your question about grow bags. They're fine for me, cheap and effiecient, basically just plastic to hold soil with holes for drainage, so i mean it's not super technical.

Just like all other things they make premium pots and such, but i really don't bother, it's just a pot. I do use the smart pots in flower though, the fabric ones. This is my first grow with them so we'll see what they look like with the root mass at the end.

thank you and yes I got it,Have a buddy sending me a 430 hortilux bulb. And then going to setup everything while Germinating some seeds. then it is on

That'll be a treat with the hortilux, very good bulb. I use the 400W Super HPS myself, hadn't even heard of the 430W until you mentioned it. Looks interesting, is it a true HPS or conversion?

True HPS bro, same as a 400 watt bulb but it is better quality.

Trich formations are beginning to slowly show up, won't be long now! The smell is extremely overpowering, when i'm working with the plants i have to keep the door open to make it manageable. Stinky stinky, gym sock smelling girls.

I promise i'll have a big picture update in the next couple days!

Came home from being out of town a few days and plants had grown about 2 inches away from the bulb. I underestimated the firepower of that floranova it seems heh
