You guys are probably sick of all these updates, but this is the first time i've got the skunks out and took pictures individually. I wanted to show everyone how big everything has gotten int he veg tent the last couple of weeks.

Right now i'm into almost week 6 of veg for my skunk crosses. I didn't anticipate them blowing up so quickly and unfortunately they are getting closer to being root bound everyday. Sadly there's really nothing i can do about it until my girls in my flower tent finish up (about 2 weeks). Tis also impacts my lemon skunks and some freebies and test stuff i'm kind of halfheartedly running because the light is so far away from them. They're beginning to stretch, so hopefully two more weeks will pass and everything will be ok without any problems. Just need better planning on my part, plain and simple.

With that said, these are the lemon g's. As you can see they very lanky, not much side branching or node growth. I attribute this somewhat to the lights being increasingly far away because of the massive skunks in the same tent but make no mistake though, i've seen these mature and they are very sativa lanky girls, wonderful tasting bud and great high though.

And here are my bushy girls that can't wait to have a go in the flower chamber. Right now we're down to 5 plants from 12, a few were killed off for various reasons, but the true strong plants remained. Two more were found to be males, which left me with 5, 4 of which being confirmed female, 1 still no sign of sex. I have no plans of messing with any of these for seeds, these were all freebies i might add. I will probably preserve a clone or two of each before they are put into flower however.

As you can see, it's just as diverse as my current crop. All strong genetics and no signs of disease, hermies, or pests.

So i was stressing about some of my big girls that are ready and need to be put into flower. The problem was i had no room, so solution! I ended up cutting down my LS and WW very prematurely. This is trimmed and ready for dry at day 35:

I really didn't want to have to do this, but due to poor planning on my part it had to be done. I've moved the biggest girls over to my flower tent now to take their space. My reasoning behind doing this was simply because i rather cut down with 70% cloudy than let it go for another week or two, and have my next generation stress, and so on. I think it'll still smoke very well, obviously it was only partially flushed, so the taste may be a bit harsh but nothing i can't counter with extensive curing.

Anyway, my loyal followers now begins my next generation of plants, my skunks are slowly going to be rotated into my flowering tent (6 total) and hopefully all will be well. Not to mention the setup is much more dialed in now that everything is upgraded and finalized, so we should see great results from here on out (not that my LS and WW we're bad results by a long shot

You and me both, i hate to do it but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. As for the trimming, there were simply too many bushy ladies in the tent, another small mistake after switching to this setup. Live in a learn i suppose.

I promise the skunks will impress!

yeah, i'm definitely with you there. I'm thinking i'll probably only pull about 3 ozs dry from both, very sad as they were the biggest, strongest growers in the tent.

I think the big turning point was when i realized i was pretty much at the ceiling of my veg tent and still had 3 weeks before space would open up in my tent. Now they've all been topped numerous times, and really didn't want to go that route fearing of excessive stress. More importantly, my sprouts underneath the canopy were beginning to stretch extensively, they barely even had node growth about 3 weeks in. Not to mention i have some more interesting projects i want to get underway asap, so cutting them down was just the obvious choice.

Although i'm still stuck with the same problem, so i discussed my issues with a very close friend of mine who also grows. She decided to adopt my remaining 5 girls and let them flower in her flowering room (an entire room!). They'll be much happier there and i can do my best to get my schedule back on track back in the lab . Don't fret though, i promise i will continue to document their growth.

Anyway. I'll do a big update when that's around the corner, i plan to give the tents a good scrub down and get ready for the skunks to have their glory. They are absolutely massive pretty girls, you guys won't be disappointed i promise, these girls are going to grow some good herb, i feel it.

Nice grow buddy I didn't read too much but I did in the beginning and said you were flowering in a DR60 but then later in the thread I see a DR100L so are you still using a 400w HPS in that or what? I ask cuz I run a 400w digital MH/HPS system in a DR80 with 1gal Air Pots and Smart Pots of Ready Gro... Not sure if you are still using the Grow bottle in your 3part from GH but if so drop it and go Lucas Formula in soil which is 8ml Micro 16ml Bloom for veg and flower and it's perfect for soil! Coco you'd do 6ml Micro 9ml Bloom
