hey osirica420,
I have read through this whole thread, every single post and *whew* what a ride! I do have a few things to say:
1) Obviously, sea salt works. Awesome. I don't know if some people understand the significance of that but if not, it's their loss.
2) The nugs look great! Super frosty, chunky looking, and that 8 footer is toooo sexy.
3) I think you can work on your ego a bit. There were quite a few people who were just trying to either ask questions or hold a conversation and you went about insulting them almost immediately. Not cool man. You can refute them all you want, but name calling and shit is unnecessary and doesn't look good on you, no matter how right you are or how dank your nugs look.
Overall, cool thread, it's knowledge that I will definitely keep on the back burner til a time comes when it'll be useful. Good luck with everything in the future.
Peace.

I hear ya bro.. def working on that, thanks for posting..

Here are some seeds I made 3 weeks into 12/12 from seed. They are sitting in a window that gets 6 hours of light , I put them on the roof sometimes for a few hours a day also. Still no sign of sex yet although one of them reaks already, they are about 6 inches atm. Entering the room you can smell a strong skunk already. They are in 80/20 coco/compost mix and fed nothing but extracted sea minerals with the sodium removed..

These are GHS Cheese x (ECSD x G13 Haze). I just started some DSD a few days ago they are coming along too. I will post updates all the way through every 2 weeks. I iwll order a HPS soon just got to find someone that ships to india...

Is there anyway you can run 4 of your plants side by side.
Plant A sea crop
Plant B Sea 90
Plant C Thalassa Mix
Plant D Sea crop , Sea 90 , Thalassa Mix.

Is the Sea crop just a concentrated version of the sea 90 ?

P.S.
Im looking at some of your pictures.
I see alot of stretching, is it your formula ?
Are your lights not penetrating or close enough ?

I also see you have some bought some liquid vitamin supplement would great to see a side by side.

Thanks
Take care

Quick update.. nothing but manure compost tea and sea minerals!
They are starting to flower past 4 days...

I decided to only run side by sides from clones from now on, maybe once I order a HPS light. Currently growing in the window and working quite well almost like being outside it gets so much direct light working with 12/12 light cycle atm. I will take some clones from the new chemdog plants I just started and put them in a veg state as soon as i get a light..

Seaponics!

Seaponics!

Hey osirica420,

THANK GOD i finally found a thread with someone using seaponics! Love those pics and all the progress you have listed thus far. WAY TO GO!

As for the haters: "come on now guys, here is a person who is trying some things we can all learn from. I learn things from my six year old kid every day, and also from my brother and sister who are ten years younger than me. by the way, they are both cocky and dumb mostly I still learn from them. So let me repeat myself in crystal clarity: COME ON NOW GUYS:noway:"

I'm setting up a 'fogponic' seaponic setup. pics to be posted soon with AK47 most likely. From what i have found in threads, fogponics is kind of another step up for water based systems. Like it went from hydroponics with root medium, to aeroponics with no medium and water spray, to fogponics (if thats an acceptable term) with no medium and BANGIN roots from most of the pics I have seen. I plan to see how much yield a person can get on a 90-120 day cycle.

All criticism is totally welcome. my first grow. pics soon.:canabis:

osirica420 you ROCK my good man,:headbange

Tar Bosh please read the thread it was stated during each grow.. I wouldn't say it yields less or more then normal nutes but it changes the high thats for sure!!..

Soon I will have a stable situation to do real clone trials..
I got some ChemDog DD II and SSH from Shanti I am inching to crack heh...
Will do DWC again..

mister_terious - I am using a 80/20 Coco / manure compost mixture..

astermech - thanks for the comments, I been doin quite a bit of reading on fogponics myself, def something to look into..

You have some beautiful plants Brother, good info on the seaponics, this is the first I've really read on it, I'm going to go back and review the thread in detail.

plants look good..

If i can ask, what makes sea solids different then any other trace element product ( seaweed, clays / rock dusts.. ) ?

Main difference is that it does not need to be broken down first. Its in a ionic form which is better then chelated. The plant can eat it right away kinda like growing with chems but its organic!!

Email i received today.

Thank you for your interest in Sea-Crop.
Unfortunately, Australian customs erroneously classifies Sea-Crop as a fertilizer and as such, it is restricted for import.
There is a gentleman in Australia currently working with the government to change this classification and hopefully we will be able to serve you at some point in the future.
Kind regards,

Nevermind.

So how do you go about making this stuff? Removing sodium from the seawater but leaving the minerals... can it be done by one man in his basement?

damn that is beat...:fsu:

Damn so they will now allow the dry stuff either?

Really its best to buy from someone that went through the testing on the different ratios of the elements..

You can get some of the himalayan salt and just mix it in water but its gotta have that oily look.. like its wet salt that how you know its the goods..

No need to remove the salt.. the minerals attach themselves to the salt and increases absorption of the minerals..

But if you want the salt removed try this product.. http://traceminerals.com/products/drops.html

I have now read fertility from the ocean deep, and yet to read sea energy agriculture

I have taken from the book, Murray was very specific where one can get sea salts, as he said not all are created equal. wonder, would these places selling salts pass Murray's test? Or are they just cashing in...

I will order some, as I experiment with growing veggies all the time, so this will be a fun project to try.

Doesn't sea solids without the salt (NaCl) removed affect the pH? Table salt tends to make the pH drift up.
