i dont think KC's strains are bad in any way - i do wonder if my region is poorly suited to certain dutch strains?
but, like i say my newness to growing at the time is probably as big a factor as any (i never figured what went wrong though)
a friend of a friend recently grew out some mindbender which i sampled - pretty par w/ a lot of the best
i had mindbender too - but i cant remember what happened (i think none even germ'd tho)
back then, it seemed like he (KC) was the only one to get seeds from (pre-internet)
i think i found it in the back of a high times mag

Let me first say that this is my first post here ever, though I've been lurking for months (been a dedicated pothead for going on 16 years now). I've followed this thread from the beginning, and before that I read your original Elevation Station thread all the way through. I've even started my own 4 lamp 55w PLL version of an NGB cabinet. I'm a bit of a privacy nut, so it's unlikely that I'll ever detail it here on ICmag, but I have the ICmag community to thank for all the education. Especially you, ScrubNinja.
OK, that said, please, please, PLEASE don't buy into this Freeman business. It's BS and is founded on nothing more than wishful thinking and incorrect interpretations of nearly every aspect of law and political history. And this coming from a devout libertarian! I wish it were true, but it simply is not.
I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade here, but after all this time learning from you (and others here), I'm grown to respect you very much. I'd just hate to see you get caught up with this falsity and get yourself into trouble. It's much better to simply lay low and live your life as you see fit, under the radar, with no negative effects on others. Live and let live. But please, don't fall for that hogwash!

Glad to hear you've done your homework on ICMag....
Hope you find the notion to research on the same level about life and what's really going on with this planet. Just agreeing to be a member of ANY political party (These days) says you don't understand what's going on.
Whether it's a phenomenal appreciation for life or cannabis.... both require research and study. Get your head out of the TV/Mag/Radio and wake up.

OK, so here's #2--I don't mean to hijack the thread, as growing cannabis is far more important that my stupid rant! I apologize for barging in here and my language was maybe a little crass. But just to clarify...
Hydro-Sun: I agree with you 100%. I meant libertarian as an adjective (in favor of personal liberty, certainly NOT the political party). I do not belong to a party as I share your view on their typical close-mindedness. I'm sort of a junk yard dog when it comes to my political appetite--a little bit of everything. Mostly I try to stay out of it!
My intention was to give ScrubNinja the advice you gave to me. Do the research (beyond that one thread). I have and I came up with my view on the whole Freeman thing. It just doesn't stand up to scrutiny in my opinion. I voiced my opinion to him because I respect him and don't want to see him fall for a false reality (again, in my opinion). Nothing more, nothing less. "If it's sounds too good to be true..."
ScrubNinja: Please accept my apologies for contaminating such a fine thread! Obviously I can't PM at this point, but just give the word here and I'll gladly delete both of my posts and it will have never happened. (I assume that's possible?) Keep up the fine work, your spreading of the cannabis gospel (and everyone else's here) is going to be what changes the system in time.

Woohoo! This thread got controversial while I was gone (researching EVERY spare moment, which is a lot of the time for me!). I barely even read FreeMan's thread here for the record, I've gone onto more localised stuff that (no offence intended to anyone) isn't written by a bunch of stoners. It's definitely new ground being covered and not all law enforcers are going to get it right off the bat, or ever.
But your idea to stay in the shadows or under the radar? Man, that is a dishonourable way to live your life, bro. That's not freedom, and that's what this is all about. I don't mean to disappoint you but I think it's you who should research more. If you'll allow me to suggest somewhere to start, look up Social Contract on whatever you deem to be a reputable source of knowledge. For anyone not getting it: You have given your consent (in the eyes of the law) to be fined, jailed, treated like less than equal, etc and who in their right mind would not try to withdraw that consent upon finding out about this scam?
By doing it your way you live in fear and dishonour, in permanent and constant conflict with the very rules YOU asked for and AGREED to in your social contract. You have essentially said: "I'm incapable of looking after myself. I need the state to look after me and like a parent, they may punish me for breaking the rules", which is whatever your "parents" feel like making as the rules.
Sure, some people have failed but they live to fight another day. I think a big problem is that the idea itself (fmotl) is very attractive and not always for honourable reasons. People see the debt stuff or the license/rego stuff, read a few pages, watch a few vids, and give it a try. Sure, these people will probably fail. That isn't proof that it doesn't work though.
You have to live it and be it and believe it in your soul, and know how to impress that on a judge, if you end up in a court. Cops probably won't respect that, but who are they? They are equal to me. They have no more power than me in a court of law, and it's the judge you have to show that you believe in you.

I dunno really, I just went off it. I think the initial shock of what I learnt recently kind of left me in a daze where drugs don't help. I still smoke a little sometimes but it's like .2 of a gram per day probably. None some days. The PK will last me years, lol.
