Sounds like you made out pretty good Scrub. I haven't checked put a thrift store or a flea market on a while. Think maybe it's time to go back.

Thanks dudes. Chris that light is 23.5" but that's a lot of wasted space. It's only actually as long as the 24w bulb. I like it because it has a sideways 3 style reflector. Kind of like a batwing, but not quite.

Yeah. I went in and found nothing. Lol. My mom actually volunteers at a local thrift store. I'll have her look around for some lights. Hahah.

Day 32 and the pk just doesn't want to fatten up. The flush fixed the salt problem no problem. The first pic is about the biggest bud that it has.
The Leda Uno looks great - it does have some trichs but it's a fine bumfluff in comparison:

Thanks Benj! These are pretty easy to get here, mate - my local hydro store has them but you can also get them from an aussie store on ebay. There's 3 basic models available and if you search for the title you'll see them (I get sketchy posting ebay links, lol)

Hey BC thanks yeah they're roughly 90mm elbows and they work out to 3x a 120mm fan size. I used to use aquarium foam on the outside to block the rest of the light, but now I just hacked up a pizza box and made a little hood that goes over the outside. I have to let my eyes acclimatise to the dark for 20 seconds before I can even tell if my lights are on! It's very effective and very free flowing. Hope you saw the new Cab Club!

55w 2G11 Energy Saving Lamp Bulb 4 Pin 4000k 10000H
and search "2g11 socket" or "2g11 base" to find them when they appear. All of it is available from traditional lighting stores too, it's just a question of getting through to the counter person wtf it is that you want. PLL means nothing to these people. You have to tell them it's 55w, and like a T5 bent over (bi-axial), and uses a 4-pin 2g11 base. People are thick as shit in all the lighting stores here and they'll often be high priced anyway. Dudes tried to charge me like 45 bucks for one 55w bulb! So online is best in my experience.

eBay is the best for everything. Lol. Amazon has some good prices occasionally, on certain things too. I'm thinkin' about getting some PLL's. I'd imagine I can find some of the same type of stuff on eBay. I really want new lights.

AND, your PK looks good. It looks a lot like my Bubba Gum. My Bubba Gum isn't exactly producing fat buds, but then again its only day 24. I dunno, I'm stressin' that I fucked it up and it's not going to produce shit for yield. Also, all the pistils are turning! I took a light out and added a fan to increase circulation so I'm hoping it'll stabilize the temp. I'm betting the occasional 85* F isn't good for em. Hahah. Good work with the Leda Uno, by the way. Looks good.

No worries xmobotx, and I agree with you the temp is not so bad for ray. I also blow in the cab or intakes sometimes, lol. But on the other hand, I'm always breathing in the next room which is essentially open to the cab's room, and I would think most co2 falls to the floor and balances out in there anyway.
Ray, it depends how/where you measure the temp, but I generally measure it at the top of cab, out of the direct light. When I grew the Pure on the first pll run, the temps got up to 90-ish if I remember right. I'd guess around 87/88 is when that particular strain started foxtailing and showing serious signs of too much heat.
About your hairs, I dunno, sounds kind of hermie related although I guess it could be anything. But if you search threads for "red hairs" or similar, you will see a lot of people have asked why all their hairs randomly turned red overnight, and the answer is usually hermies. Like I said, it could be anything, but one thing it is/could be is a textbook example of accidental pollination.
I'm not sure if you noticed in the pics but I have some hairs turning too. Not sure if it's just natural now, or if there was a male flower or two that I missed.
Either way, once you've done all you can, there's no point stressing it, just enjoy where the ride takes you.

No worries mate - but that's pretty much what I said though isn't it? I'm sure I mentioned it. If the batteries added up to 3v say, then use a regulated 3v power adapter. Some adapters will vary in their output (despite what's listed), and some are regulated. The adjustable power supply I use for my fan in the cupboard is regulated for example. Peace.
