Elites are elites for a reason, one in a million. But the kind of taste profile he is looking for shouldn't be so hard to find.

And I'm happy with good. Even bad heh if it's somehow interesting. Nice to try different things. The good ones get a couple of rounds maybe, and maybe pollinated. But surely that would be different if I was serving customers, then you gotta give 'em what they want, not what I happen to find interesting at the time. Only one clone I ever really even tried to keep around longer and that was because it was so early and fast. Sad to have lost that one. On the other hand being able to shut down entirely if needed is kinda nice too.

Ever tried to grow any Bubba Kush? I think you might like it.

Nah, not bad luck dude, I believe breeders are not what they used to be. they used work their strains and when you start getting into F2 and so on its never like the original. now a days its just about pollen chucking and money grabbin. I used to never see bananas on regular seeds, now I see it more often but not as much as feminised seeds. breeders were spending more time with the very few strains they had. now a days its all about having lots of strains and good fake stories about them/marketing.
As for bubba, I did try a death bubba back in the day from a pound my cousin had bought and it was amazing smoke. Since then I have been on a quest to find some good bubba but keep getting dissapointed. I heard BOGs sour bubble was a bubba so I tried it but it was shit, then tried bubba from 420guyseeds but got 3 females out of 9 seeds and all hermied to the point of having male flowers on them so I tossed them. I tried bubbagum from jynxproof and they tasted almost like mint which is really not my pallet.
Then I was on a quest to finding bubblegum and even tried TH Seeds but all were crappy
Then I was on a quest for blue dream cause I had smoke a joint at my cousins and it was decent but after trying cali connection and HSO and Dr.greenthumb I was dissapointed so I gave up that project.
I'll be trying alien bubba, island sweet bubba and a couple others this round but not putting my hopes up.
Oh and Charles early bubba kush next round (if i receive them) so...not trying to put more pressure than you already have Charles but all the seeds that I have ordered from you were all sold out last time I checked on your website and im not interested in anything else cause Im a real picky guy. I know what I want.

Not too many people like me now a days but then again thats just my experience speaking. theres so much lies, if not misinformation, if not disinformation on the internet that you need to do try everything yourself to validate and let me tell you. I have done countless side by sides with the same strain and all I gotta say is take anything you hear on the net with a grain of salt. Now you might be thinking, then why should I believe you/me then. well don't, just do your god damn homework and stop pretending to know shit cause it makes you sound more confident in yourself, Im no chick to impress here. No offence btw but when I hear things like shouldn't it really grinds my gears like when I read a science article and it says MAY or COULD, I say get the f*** out of here with your claims/presumptions.

For an IBL like Bubblegum maybe you could do an open pollination from the pack(s) you buy and then hunt through many from one, rather than a handful from many different strains. Save those $$$

Have you seriously never considered that option, that there might be something you need to do differently?

Anyway, I have come across that kind of taste twice from seed without even looking for it. One was Bubba Kush from a famous, even hated, company and the other was Royal Dane (hermie prone outdoor strain so I wouldn't recommend it to you).

The common thing with the two, and Purple Kush, is that they are Afghan Kush hybrids. That's the kind of lines I would look into. Reeferman used to have some, even a Bubba. But I also see many selling Purple Kush and Bubba Kush clones online, not even asking much, haven't ordered myself so they might be scams, dunno.

I've grown for many years and have had many elite clones pass through my hands and many thousands of seeds.
Some of the elites were not my thing whereas I have found keeper mothers from seed that I prefer over those elites. I found an "elite" cut in one single pack of Bodhi tester seeds and kept her for 5 years. Friends are still holding her tight. Two other "elite" clones I hold were hunted from packs of seeds from karma's earlier work. I have others from different breeders as well, both males and females. I don't believe "elite" clones are one in a million. I think most growers aren't keeping clones and are losing a lot of the killer plants that pop up. Some growers methods produce "meh" cannabis.... no matter what strain you put in thier hands.
I've been let down too many times by the so called "elites"...... there's hype in some of those too.
As for Pink Kush..... I opened a package a couple days ago and was pleased to find clones of the killer Vancouver Island Pink Kush so I will forgo the seeds in this case because this truly is an awesome cut hehehe

That would mean i would have to dedicate an entire grow/4 months for one strain/breeder only. No thanks

What's an elite cut anyway?

In my experience, in my opinion, I've found 2 keepers for extreme potency, and roughly 2 others for excellent taste/smell. Maybe all combined within last 24 - 30 plants popped from seed.

I'm all about potency so idgaf about yield, terp, colour etc really if I'm being completely honest.

I want that mess you up good schtuff.
I image everyone has a different idea of what an elite is.

Wish I took cuts of those potent buggers... eh ah well... live and learn.

I have tried many different ways of growing werher its dirt,dwc,flood and drain, rockwhool, aeroponics. Then i tried pretty much all nutrient lines in the market, gh, floranova,green planet,pure blend pro, advanced, house and garden, etc. Then tried flushing for 1-2-3 weeks even tried flushing agents. Tried full of different amendments like guano, chicken, alpaca, rabbit, alfalfa, seaweed.So no i don’t think it’s something that i am doing.

You are right Acespicoli, the seeds do exist but according to Charles, these seeds would be from an imposter who poses as the real reeferman and who supplies pretty much everywhere they sell reeferman seeds. I'm just crossing my fingers that it's not the other way around but only time will tell.
