Tuna Kush is renowned for its rotting fish fragrance. It’s impossible to mistake it for something else. Combined with the skunky taste, you’ll almost feel like you’re smoking rotting fish.

Tuna Kush Strain is known for its profoundly sedating high, but it is the scent of this herb that makes it memorable. It has a rotting fish odor.

First off, Tuna kush smells like a can of tuna fish, PERIOD. All these yahoos saying the name is from the way it was packed don't know what they are talking about. I have a big bag of it right now, and whether wet or dry of whatever, it IS 100% tuna smelling. Too many idiots post bad 2nd hand information. Smells like tuna, no ifs or buts about it.

Tuna Kush, also known as "Tuna OG", is a rare indica dominant hybrid strain that is said to be a phenotype of the classic Hindu Kush. Even with its beautifully relaxing indica high, Tuna Kush's stench can be overpowering. Tuna Kush has a super pungent smell that's actually incredibly fishy, almost like rotting tuna! This smell doesn't transfer over very well to flavor – it has a sour skunky taste that's incredibly pungent with a kushy fish flavor that can leave you gagging.

All abit fishy isn't it...

:shark:

My plants are more sweet Tuna Skunk than earthy Kush the Fish smell is 80% and the sugar makes up the backend, but they are only at week 3 and 6 and the parents were reefs Tuna x Rockstar? x BC Green Crack which is purple kush x the Z cut aka Zen/Zed Hashplant/BC Biker HP so there's lots going on in the Rage Killer...

It is an unmistakeable new world next gen next big thing hype hype hype Terp.

"Very strong, funky, skunky earthy with a hint of fuel like aroma. May have a slight sweet undertone with proper care."

Tuna Kush strain has one of the nastiest odors in the marijuana world, but if you can get past the fishy, algae-like odor, you’ll be blessed with one of the wealthiest Indica high.

#Mermaid Skunk, Fishermans Friend, Seaweed, Mariners Madness, Canadian Fish Cakes, Old Crusty Seadawg OG, Pirate Kush etc are some of the working titles for what i've got hahaha. 🐟🐬🦈🧜‍♀️

This shits gonna ship all the way to Gaulway by the time i'm done with it...

It's okay guys, shopify is just waiting to recieve licensing from Charles... he sent me this in April when he shut down his scam site. Guess the licenses didn't make it in the mail either.

🤣

Sad times for those of us who have nothing to do with facebook

Here we can see my "Fire On The Mountain" reworking of the ultimate pink koosche haggard old legendary Pakistani Druggo Heirloom, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in a Kelto - Nordic climate and BREAKING them.

This clone is dialled and starting to enter the "Blush Phase" when the underside of the leaves turn pink and a majestic neon magenta hue, you can just see it on kush mountains🏔️ and terrorist training camps all over the north Pakistan region:ninja:...we hope to push another 15 days at least..."until the calyxes stack n swell" oodles of ultra potent fully cooked tight floral flower fire clusters are so close and yet soooo far...:hotbounce

Here guys ,this is a little something I found.RM. did say that the name came from bikers smuggling it in cans years ago . This is all I can find now

BLACK TUNA AND THE STORY OF THE MIAMI SMUGGLERS

macro shot of black tuna cannabis

If you’re new to the joys of Black Tuna you may be concerned about the aroma – don’t worry this cultivar wasn’t named for its fragrance, which, thanks to a strong terpene profile is skunky, earthy, and a little spicy.

HOW BLACK TUNA GOT ITS NAME

Back in the day, when it was grown in B.C.’s legacy market this flower was packaged and shipped in tuna cans – a tradition we’re upholding. The name, however, references the Miami-based smuggling ring known as The Black Tuna Gang led by Robert Platshorn and Robert Meinster.
In the 1970s, the Black Tuna Gang was responsible for importing (or smuggling if you prefer) an estimated 500 tons of cannabis into the United States from Colombia. “Black Tuna” was a code word often used by these smugglers who were pretty savvy about staying under the radar. The group was known to use sophisticated technology to spy on the police and US customs and they were adept at covering their tracks.
Most reviewers will point out that given the potency of this strain, it may not be best suited for new cannabis smokers. In this case, starting low and going slow might be a good call, don’t say we didn’t warn you.

For real. I don't get the fascination with foul terps.
Some people don't like the smell of weed, I'm not one of them.
I like the smell of weed, but I want my weed to smell like weed and not like shit. :D

which lineages are falsified ? sounds like slander
exactly...... LOL
Green twister sounds like a schill account if I ever saw one. Oh and from the same guy that also makes the bold claim that Cali bred genetics are weak bwhahahahahahaha I just finished a light dep at 52north 3000ft elevation and the Cali bred stuff sure shined. Plus the account seems to be somehow aware that "everyone got thier seeds" and in the end "it's all Dan's fault" he says.
Charles.....or those invested in Charles...... stop using schill accounts, it only makes this all look more scammy.

I did get seeds eventually but have not started any yet. There hasn't been time for me to even get one crop off of those seeds even if I started them when i got them. So I'd like to see all these finished grows from all the people who ordered seeds seeing how twister has so much information in that regard.

LOL
reputation destroyed as far as I'm concerned.

Black Tuna is a clone only currently trademarked by Tilray on Vancouver Island BC.
It is NOT Tuna Kush and was made by a former member of the Old School Breeder's Collective and the Mary Jane's Garden crew. Unrelated to any current folks using those names..... such as the tatoo faced Old School Ba who is one of the folks i steer far and wide from.
Shortly after i joined icmag, a long time grower friend and his associates came to be with the Black Tuna clone and it was given to me for the purpose of Cubing into a viable seed line. Which I did and that work was mostly posted on this site at the time.

Here is the clone itself , a week after I received it

reeferman did not breed the black tuna and he claims he did he is full of sh!t.
I was told the growers/breeders name was rockymountainjam or something like that..... rockymountain "something"
Other than that, the story I was told about the name being chosen to give props to The Black Tuna Gang seems to ring true.

I should add that other than yield and smell...... there was nothing really special about the Black Tuna from a recreational smokers point of view. Good weed for sure but in todays state of things there are way better "kush" plants out there. and it is nothing like the Tuna Kush we used to get in tin cans.
BTW.... Tuna kush doesn't smell like fish LOL If your Tuna Kush smells like fish...... it ain't the Tuna.
My thinking is that Tuna was just another early S1 of OG kush , possibly from the Breeder Steve reversals of the OG Kush clone many years ago.

I believe you ,I'm just quoting something he said years ago. I don't know if you can believe anything he says .
Edit for more.
He said Tuna Kush or whatever he was selling at the time. Didn't smell like Tuna, but was smuggled in Tuna cans

Send me the seeds then if you don't want them please
Still waiting on the seeds I paid for that Charles never sent.

Charles is nothing but a thief.
So have you tried ordering from Sensible? Or you're making 10000 posts crying about a $50 order getting lost in the mail?
