I assume you're pollinating that one branch but what is holding the pollen? You mind breaking this down Hatch?

Who dat it's a little plastic vial. You sometimes get seeds in them, or usually used for swab samples.

But yeah. Filled the vial up with Goblin Queen pollen & closed it. Put it into the corner of a plastic bag. Sealed that bag's bottom around a couple branches. Opened the vials lid, and shook it all about. Took the bag off this morning, misted with water & put back into its spot in the tent.

All easily done. Was still easy to get the plant in & out, which was a big plus.

And looks like you're about 2.5-3 weeks into flower too? Sounds easy enough. I can't to start tossing some pollen.

i've seen corn farmers do the same thing to keep their seed stock impeccable and uncontaminated. they used paper bags and staples but same idea.

i have been trying to remember where i saw it. some documentary, probably DIRT!

i think you and SG1 may have improved upon the method with the smaller container inside the bag that you pop open after it is secured.

It's all SG1. Gives me peace of mind that it's a good thorough dusting. No open pollen by rest of buds/plants. Popping the cap & shake it up.

Like most awesome solutions...it's simple.

A lil update with the Sour bubble f2s, sb x Khalisi, gg4 x sb, gg4 x Khalisi.. all are in a cab lite with led bulbs (depot style) all in all doing good, right on track at about 6 wks.

I have been noticing the difference between the Khalisi and sour bub pollen, it seems that the sb pollen is a little less potent than the Khalisi, still pollinated just fine but hind sight I should of done it twice.
Not a big loss I still have enough to do a couple more branches to get some more f2s. I have some female sb going OD atm and will hit a couple in a few wks once bud sets in.

I was toying with the thought of taking the gg4 a little longer and while doing that try to stress her with light and water techniques in order to see if I can get her to drop some pollen..... idk we shall see, I guess it's up to her and how she's doing in a few wks. It may have to wait till next run, but man I wouldn't mind having some of her pollen lol.

i bought some stuff to make STS to spray a females or 2& had took some clones.
but just havent gotten around to dooing it yet.
i just had to up pot those clones as they got too big.

Had a few nonviability issues.... first, BMR was sterile, then ChemD bx3...not viable... blue ox? not sure quite yet, but it aint lookin good...

I did get some SGMCD x agent orange and norcal catpiss x moontang done however... kinda wish I'd done more, but I got enough of those for now.

elmers glue x fire cookies have had some intersex preflowering... they were all quite late to show. I got 2 good lookin females vegging... held onto 2 great lookin males... and I still have 2 left... one still hadnt shown sex, the other seems to have both balls and pistils... I'm letting it go a bit longer to be sure.
