I need some help with a potentially disastrous problem, bud rot. I've posted this on another thread but I've had pretty good advice here with other questions so I'm going to come here as well
I'm at D57 of flower, day 9 of flush. I have a mix of Trainwreck, Firestorm and OGKB 2.0.
I was looking the plants over tonight and saw one of the 2.0's had a bud that seemed a little too orange-y/brown to be just from the color of the hairs. I got back there to look closer. It had some brown and dried out sugar leaves and felt kind of mushy. I suspected bud rot, so I cut it out and found this:
Do I take it all down, even if it's pretty early to avoid further spread? or do I try to do a bud by bud check?
The 2.0 and FS buds aren't that big but they are pretty dense compared to what I'm familiar with so I've been worried about this developing.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Yeah short term solution is chop it all down and make use of whatever is salvageable. Long term fix is get a dehumidifier or more powerful AC. Humid and stale air leads to that bud rot typically. When you combine that with lots of super dense buds it can become pretty hard to manage.
