Thank you for the write up! I was thinking those plants had to have a nice heady high based off the bud structure and size of the plant, looks to be very sativa dominant!

Additionally, thank you for your continued effort to the community! I really love what SDF is doing for the community, it's really inspiring!

Oops, my bad. :shucks:

I got a little too cavalier at the last Buds & Brews and have been asked to pass on a minor note on weed etiquette for future events:
Please pre-package your gifts in discreet containers. Seeds and edibles are fine as they are, but flowers and concentrates need to be pre-packaged and discreet so as not to bother other patrons.
Big ups to our hosting location's management staff for being so polite in their request and welcoming us back anytime.

We now return you to our regularly scheduled broadcast.

It was good seeing so many familiar faces and meeting a few new ones.

The lime-fruity smelling runty pheno of the Zamaldelica x Ethiopian is finally ready for chop at 15 weeks to the day:

Good times, good meeting some and seeing old friends again.

That smash #2 pale was effing delicious, meant to grab a growler but I totally spaced(big surprise right?)

That zamaldelicia looks and sounds awesome, I'd love to try the "scary" phenos lol. Maybe I should finally buck up and get a pack or two on the way.

So no jars on the table? Sheesh...what has the world come to? (Sarcasm lol)

I agree, the head guy was pretty decent about everything. Thanks again to GT for herding all the cats. Nice folks, nice beer, very generous group. My personal tester, my son, is a new Zamal fan Terp. And everyone loved the toffee, even though i had let it get all melted together in my car. That stuff took a long time to hit me though. It was great meeting so many ppl. I hope to be able to return the sharing some day soon. My first go round wasn't at that level but I'll keep practicing

Stunning plant Terpene! I have crossed Zam with Deep Chunk and the one I've grown out so far was very cool. Long live the Zamaldelica hybrids!! Lol....

Female or male Zam in that cross?

Respect...

Thanks all. :tiphat:

Ona - what was your impression of the Zamaldelica x Ethiopian (ethiopian pheno)? Little different than the hybrids you're used I take it?

Soopy - Zamaldelica x DC? Heh, I bet thats a complex high. I didn't make that cross, thats all done by Dubi. I believe its his Ethiopian male and scary/trippy female of Zamaldelica.

Terp, I haven't smoked it yet. My son however has put it at the top of his list. I need to get that baggie back from him before it all disappears.

I really liked the toffee version. It took close to 2 hrs to get fully in there but it was a very nice and long ride. I'm pretty sure I was still up some the next morning. As a neophyte, i was a little worried by your Zama D smoke report but I believe you're right about the Ethiopian influence being a modulating, enjoyful effect. (made that word up).

Thank you again for your generous gifts: seeds, flowers and calories! High praise to the chef. Even though I managed to melt my bag of toffee into one big stuck together mess, everyone who has tried it has loved it. And that's before they had the high come in. Candy that good can be hazardous when pot gets really strong.

I've decided on my 2017 outdoor seed project.

I'll be reversing my selected pheno of Alien OrangeADE and also Cactus Cooler. That pollen will be used to create S1s of both plant as well as crossing the two. We are also looking for a Tahoe OG so the Cactus Cooler can be crossed back to her mum. Cactus Cooler was always considered unfinished and hopefully I can take care of that

I got a Tahoe from up north that I'm about to put into flower to see if it's the real cut. Also Desert Heart Nursery currently has Tahoe clones in stock at Point Loma Patient Consumer Co-Op.

The (ADExAOC-X) pollenated with (ETHxMAU) was the fastest to completely finish in my garden.

There are other crosses on the way using the same pollen (SSH, (ADExAOC-W), SW-N, and SW-O).

I couldn't have made this cross without Terpene, so a huge shout out to him for providing the male.

Grrr, sometimes I can't win no matter what I do. So I just finished converting my flower rooms to CMH to better battle the summer heat and things were working great for the first couple weeks. But apparently I didn't take into consideration that my section of the East County is first on the list for brownouts and CMH don't function that well on 103 watts. It took a very frustrating 2 days to figure out the issue was due to the service being throttled.

This brings up a good point of discussion, have you determined an acceptable solution to the issue of reduced wattage?

I would like to install a generator to take up the slack when power goes out up here, and eventually put up a solar array that can supply our daytime electric needs, I'm not terribly worried about our night time electric demand.

I must admit that I never considered brown out conditions where wattage is reduced.

Coming from a reptile breeding background I have always been very much aware of needing sufficient electricity to keep the operation running, but in that field most equipment runs just fine right up to the point where the power is completely cut.

If the mains is pushing 100v not much will work in any home. Throttling voltage is not good for electronics. It should be on or off. 120V stuff wont work it the voltage drops below 100v. It causes all kinds of weird shit to happen

I have been running cmh for years now. CMH lights produce killer plants !! I have a new test bulb coming in that is 1000w CMH DE from growers choice. I had a few of there 945w DE CMH bulbs but now they are making 1000w de cmh. These new 1kw bulbs have 2 500w arc tubes inside.. The 945w CMh had 3 315w arc tubes. these had ignition issues on some ballast. Now we have 1kw which has solved this issue.

Decided I needed a new patio plant and terpes sharing of the love allowed me to make quite a selection. So we've got 3 zamal x Ethiopians sprouted and one of which has made her way to my kitchen table as the centerpiece. Also started 2 zamal x k.china that I will be keeping posted up here as they begin to so their thing.
