no problem. I'm planning on going forward once the kids go back to school in January. I'll keep in touch one way or another. thx for the offer. If you want to bump up your posts without dozens of mindless "I'm subbed" type posts, try the Toker's Den forum. Bunch of interesting things to discuss and a lot of humor based threads too

I'll try that..
Can't give rep either without the 50 posts..
I'll o over to the towers den and chat it up.. lol
Thx

Added the HPS, just need to get the inline in there but I haven't picked up a speed controller and am not trying to sleep with the full noise of the fan. Maybe this weekend I'll flip em. They're in 3 gallons now, should I go bigger? Did some old school training just to gain some strength!

What are they, about 15-18" tall right now? Seems like a good time to flip in a 3 gallon. Did you just transplant or have they been in that container for some time? Are you feeding nutrients or is it a super soil type mix where all you are doing is watering?

If a super soil type mix + already having been in the container for about 3 weeks, then you might want to consider putting them into a 5 gallon container before flip. Give the roots that extra room to keep spreading out and ensure you don't fall short on nutrition. A lot of soil formulas around don't give adequate nitrogen for anything past 9wks if you've vegged them for much time in the final container.

If you are feeding them nutrients, they are probably at the perfect time to go ahead and flip.

Looking healthy! Side note, that bit of leaf curl that you see on the serrations is indicative of low humidity. Toss a bowl of water in there under the light and let it evaporate. Low cost solution that should help a bit.

Thanks DankFrank, they have only been in these pots for a about 10 days with only a few waterings...Its a coco/soil mix and I am using House and Garden. ya about 15". Since its a coco mix and I'm using nutrients maybe they will be fine without transplant.

I hear you on the edges of the leaves but I think its just hot in there, its getting to about 85 right now with no inline fan but that will change soon as I get mine in there...just waiting on a speed controller from amazon.

Went ahead and deleted my previous images so far...had no idea that all my metadata was attached to Iphone photos and my GPS location could have been compromised! So now I have an app that lets me delete my data before posting...just a heads up!

Looking good caligreen,
Not positive but if you host the images here on IC, the site strips the data from the images I believe......but I always make sure no data is attached just to be sure :tiphat:

Hey Cali, some smart phones (iPhones especially) like to tag your location to images. You can turn that feature off in your settings within the phone. If you're saving files in photoshop, use "save for web" and there are options to remove all metadata from the images there as well. This article on metadata here on IC may be of interest to you: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=236379

Since people were lamenting Bubba's passing... heres Ace's (Bubba Kush x Hashplant) x Erdpurt at its 9.5 week chop:
picture.php

My two Alien Orange Cookies x Alien Dawg Ether seedlings turned out 50/50 M/F. The male (left) is very citric-tangerine smelling (AOC side), whereas the female (right) is smells much more like a slightly fruitier Chem variant (ADE side). Just as I was warned, DankFrank's soil mix is a bit hot on initial transplant, but the plants have rebounded quite nicely and are very happy in their space:

Nice!!! I've ALWAYS considered double serrations to be a good indication of potency. I really would like to know what base line genetic contributed that the larger gene pool.

I see it on several things I've grown over the years. UK Cheese will throw double serrations when kept in peek health. The Digi cut and all her offspring that lean heavily towards her show the double serrations.

I've seen it on others too - but generally consider it to be a positive trait - outside of seeking it as a known parental trait.

I'll play... I nearly did a double take when you said Cheese, been admiring these double serrations for a couple weeks now!

I ran some unknown x sour D from Greyskull a few years back. Never got to flower those out although one smelt like straight up mango on the stem rub. Was very tropical. Never really knew to much about the mother.

Ace Tikal x Honduras is really showing purple for 7.5 weeks of flower. For those unfamiliar, Tikal is (Guatemalan x KushHaze). The smell on this one is VERY close to what I expect from Pakistani Chitral kushes. Its spicy and somewhat lemony (Honduran side) but closer to the strawberry bubble gum smell which is more typical of the Tikal line.

well some pretty nice updates finally! sprouted beans again after destroying the mouse population around my area... lets home they stay away this time... traps are live and waiting for them to try again

Beans :
Primordial - MedTree Seeds - 3 of 3 sprouted

Purple Haze X Green Zip Tie - Terpene - 4 of 4 sprouted

Platinum Huck Cookies F2 - GrowTech - 2 of 2 sprouted

Compost pit has also started taking off.. been pouring some of SD Hydros tea over my pit then covering it and letting the bacteria do their thing. today was the first soil test. soil tests at 7.1 pH (which i poured out the solution before the image was taken - DOH), and N P K values indicated in the photo. looks a bit hot on the P but we will see how it tests again in a week.

and lastly.... i have finally gone to the dark side and built screw in LED lights just as Terpene has done... so far the jury is still out since as soon as lights went up, i also began noticing some rust coloured spots develop on strains that typically never have issues, however i have also been messing with nutrient mixes lately as well so cannot point to what is actually causing it at this time. Enjoy!

exotic purps?

exotic purps?

Got some Girl Scout Cookies for xmas...all the buds were dank, smelled amazing like fruit hash, and the color is awesome(super vibrant orange hair, purple, bright greens). Well, I had one large nug and some smaller nugs which I smoked first. I finally get to the large nug and it was like someone had purposefully pollinated it! In a one gram nug I found over 20 seeds and have a feeling they will be dank.

Am I seeing light burn issues? I had overfed but then back off right away....

Overall its looking nice
