Sounds like a great project EC!
Anyone that I've met in person before that is interested in building a rosin press, I've got 2 of these cartridge heaters available. Gratis. Let me know

I am happy to hear that you got 100% germ on the purple hazes. The beans from the green zip tied pheno was the most promising as a potential for future selection - exceptional production for a haze, done in 14-15 weeks (11/13), strong development with the incensey-sandalwood smell typical of greener phenos of Ace's Old Timers Haze.
The male used in the cross I nicknamed "density", he had the tightest nodes on a pure haze that I've ever seen with equally dense flower production and the blackberry brandy smell that is more common with really purple phenos of Ace's OTH.

Speaking of dense, Panama Sue (panama x suzy q) from MedTree Seeds has some serious variation between phenos. One of my plants is a dead ringer for typical Panamanian growth, while the other is so thick and bushy that you can't see through it:

GT's Alien Orange Cookies x Alien Dawg Ethers get rootbound QUICKLY. Please excuse the ugliness, I've been neglecting them in 4 inch pots and just potted up to 1gals with DankFrank's soil recipe which I will be using for all my plants from now on.

Yes, those are Zamaldelica x Ethiopian highland seedlings in the foreground. :woohoo:

My ACE OT haze purple is no where near that dense at 86 days i.e. 13 weeks of 11/13 at this point. Thats super fast for a pure haze man! Nice Job for sure! Hoping this girl finishes up in the next 4 weeks but not holding out at this point. She will go as long as it take if able.

@Doomsday I went with the round style also. I see these as being particularly well suited for some rectangular plates

This is a Cornbread Bubba from CSI Humboldt @ day 40. I have one pheno I really like. This is one that I'm still trying to decide if it's worth keeping. It really is smelling like the Triangle Kush side of its lineage. Growing more like the Bubba side

Saw that above photo when you posted on IG. Looks like you and I have hit the same point. Finding really nice genetics but knowing there are better out there, so the hunt continues. It's almost like we're never satisfied haha

Those TK x Bubba should hold something special, I'd think. Nspecta gifted me some of those, but I've handed most of them out. Everyone I've given them too hasn't completed their cycle though due to various reasons...still not puffed a sample. You've got a good looking pheno there. 6 wks in. Maybe she'll start showing some purple in the next 20 days. That'd be nice.

The pheno I have that I'm definitely keeping has more stretch but the buds have that Bubba flavor for sure. One thing I've noticed in all the phenos is susceptibility to root issues. I guess that's pretty common for OGs....though my ValleyOG x X18 isn't a problem child like that

About the only OG cross I'm super interested in these days is the one I think Greyskull made recently. Valley x HP13 fem line. I'm lusting for those seeds like crazy.

I tried some flowers grown by Critter that were SFV x '88 G13/HP from Bodhi testers - and it was some of the best narcotic medicine I've had in YEARS. Really top notch stuff and I'm not a Bodhi fan boy or anything either.

So naturally, I'd suspect something even better from the Greyskull combination. Bet that is some epic meds right there. I see his seeds are on pre-order at some seed site - all nice crosses for sure. Been stalking those too. Skunkdawg x Black Indica/SCMK. Yeah. Some kill in those too, I bet.

You can tell I'm all about my indy leaning meds. So many to grow. So little time!!! hahaha

I was skeptical of the 88g13/hp but I'm dabbing on some od more cowbell rosin right now (gsc forum x 88g13/hp) and the effect is exactly as you described. I'm not getting up out of this lazyboy for a while.

Hey guys. I'm trying to gear up to begin my first growing attempt. I don't know if its ok to ask this sort of thing here but if anyone has a suggestion for an skilled and 420 friendly electrician to go though my place and get me tuned up to do things safely, I'd appreciate it. I'm in the N. Co if that's any help. PM is great. If this is not an appropriate request, lmk and I'll erase. Thanks, hope every one has a great holiday.

I know an electrician in oside.. not sure how to get you his info though.. not enough post for PM..

no problem. I'm planning on going forward once the kids go back to school in January. I'll keep in touch one way or another. thx for the offer. If you want to bump up your posts without dozens of mindless "I'm subbed" type posts, try the Toker's Den forum. Bunch of interesting things to discuss and a lot of humor based threads too
