San Diego Finest Cuts #3

Strange...I grew out 7 individuals of Grape Stomper x (Grape Stomper x Underdog OG) that look nothing like that.

Super low yields even though Gage says to expect heavy yields. It only makes up for low flower weight by filling space quickly. They all would knock me out and give me RLS after a few tokes.

You can see in one of my cuts that the myrcene is through the roof. You can see in the second report that I was able to increase the potency with some secret sauce while combating broads.

Thank you, (and everyone else too). It is Sour Grapes AKA Grapestomper

From Leafly:
Different from the strain “Sour Grape,” this marijuana hybrid is a craft strain created by Gage Green Seeds. A complex cross between breeder JojoRizo’s Purple Elephant, Purple Urkle, and breeder Elite Seeds’ Chemdog Sour Diesel, Sour Grapes has quite the pedigree. Slightly sativa-dominant, the effects of this strain are felt most in the head. In true hybrid form, however, a pleasant tingly-body sensation usually appears after a few minutes. This is a sociable strain that's for consumers who would like pain relief while out and about. As the name suggests, Sour Grapes also features a strong, fruity aroma similar to grape candy. This strain may also be found under the name “Grape Stomper.”

I've used most spectrums. UVB does something, but its not worth it...especially if you want all snow white trichs

There is a secret sauce that will do much more than any spectrum or hormone. It is highly unlikely to be available commercially and most people who are doing it probably don't realize the magnitude of its effects nor do they understand what is actually going on. I found one post so far which included what could yield the special sauce, but the grower was just going by "organic" ideology and didn't actually understand what or why. If they did, their recipe wouldn't contain all the frivolous nonsense they included in the list that had the stuff that could yield special sauce....and the thing that actually could yield the special sauce was far far more expensively employed than a person of understanding would do. It took me 4 months to figure out after I finally discovered what it was....During the beginning, I was also using a very expensive and wasteful technique just because it took time to figure out a properly cheap source though I employed it from theory to begin with unlike what happens with most other people where they are just doing a bunch of stuff they hardly understand.

I did a GG#4 run with a CMH/UVB spectrum + 450nm/660nm led and a run with HPS. Both performed similarly because they are nuted the same, but the HPS run was a much better on a g/w basis.

Oh yeah Frank I almost forgot the biggest positive to using CMH. The terpenes levels are off the charts under the wider spectrum. I've now grown 5 different strains under CMH & HPS (at the same time) and every single one was noticibly more flavorful under CMH

BS420 recently posted similar excrement in the GG thread. Some guys just sign on from time to time to throw their diarrhea into the ceiling fan.

The dude doesn't know shit he wants desperately to be revered. He's likely talking chitosan or jasmine spray. Who cares? it's silly. People who run the strains on these boards aren't going to significantly increase the value that way. I've noticed an increase In trichome coverage when I use chitosan. It's not an insane difference and my observations were casual and not really overwhelming.

The way the dude comes off is like he's making it up as he goes along.

Ace Zamaldelica can be a bit trippy / mushroomy / scary, so it got smacked with a Tom Hill Haze x (Purple Thai Skunk x White Widow) male to increase yield and make it a little more dreamy, pleasant-psychedelic and soaring. Here's a more Zamaldelica leaning pheno in a double tomato cage scrog 11 days into flower.

That high sounds right up my alley. I don't have anything yet that produces that effect. Did you run a pack of them, and if so how many had that effect?

Your experience is going to change a bit depending on the pheno you get. Every plant I've run has been its own particular brand of fun. The tall spindly ones are very electric-psychadelic-scary while the more dense plants tend to be more deeply moving, gut tightening and paralyzing. Most have a strong mango-carrot smell which is the Zamal side influence. So far, everyone I've seen run Zamaldelica has liked it, though most can't smoke it every day as its intense, "terroriffic" psychadelica level is a bit more of planned experience than something to smoke every day of the week / after work / whatever.

Lots more here: Ace Zamaldelica thread

Here's how that Zamaldelica x Tom Hill Haze (Purple Thunk x White Widow) is doing at 3 weeks in. I would say this one is more Zamal looking, but the leaves are a bit thinner due to the haze addition.

Heres a few more I currently have running:
(Purple Haze x Malawi) x Napalm doing what it does best, nice happy looking colas with a tabletop flat canopy.

Med Tree Adub x Louis XIII is really, really strong stuff! Here's my last of three beans I planted at about 6 weeks in.

Hey Terpene, how does the (Malawi x Purple Haze) x Napalm cross smoke? Have you considered a back cross to the Malawi x Purple Haze?

Hey Terpene, how does the (Malawi x Purple Haze) x Napalm cross smoke? Have you considered a back cross to the Malawi x Purple Haze?

The smoke is a mix of:
Malawi's energy / penetrating stone.
Purple Haze's dreamyness / mild psychradelica / positive alertness - I am really good at video games with purple haze in my system for some reason.
Destroyer's clarity and ADHD "you guys wanna go ride bikes" pep.
Fire OG's og body buzz.

Overall, its thin leaf ADHD motivating with an overly developed feeling of well being. You practically skip between your nearly perpetual activities on it. Almost immediately after smoking it you feel like Peter Griffin from Family Guy when he wished for his own perpetual theme music (LINK) .

All of the beans have been remarkably uniform so far. Little variance here and there, but they all have that blackberry-rotten wood smell from Purple Haze Malawi and have a lemon-pepper-fuel hint from the Napalm. So far all of them have had a noticeable Malawi influence in the smoke - rotten wood and gear oil, which can be a bit rude and slightly harsh tasting. They all yield like crazy and have a very dense growth habit - surprising trait considering how much stretch I was expecting between the Haze / Malawi / Destroyer influence.

I think I am done at this point with the cross - which to be honest, was more just half assed pollen chucking than anything. I'll probably just dust one in the future for F2s and call it a day.

Perhaps the special sauce is chem light juice and the results of a bad meal at some shady hole in the wall dive mixed with a bit more beer than one should partake of, toss it at a fan to foliar feed and boom the magic happens.

By way of introduction, I'm DRM Ranch, I'm running a small T-5 HO grow with a couple easy strains to get my feet wet as a first time grower.

I've been away from SD for decades but so glad to be back home where I belong.
