Hey Jay - nice new avatar mate, I might give mine a little update. I've just watched that episode in Season 3 where Moz gets caught breaking into his neighbours flat and then the Christian builder gets a wasps nest in the face - its hilarious! I can never give you enough Kudos for introducing me to it :D Good on the Kiwis for wrapping up the series, they deserved it. All I can say now is bring on the Saffers!! :joint:

Zeus - sounds good to me mate, I've got some CH9 Jack coming through on my next run and although they're still in veg, they're nice healthy girls. With the flower, CH9 said it's at it's best around day 50 which sounds like a bonus - also CH9 is around on ICMag to talk to if needs be. The CH9 flower I have is extremely frosty so would probably give a good amount of hash. Thanks for popping by

Germ - I just like to spam a lot of photos :) Sorry you guys lost last night, it was a good game.

Jubbwa - Hi and thanks for checking out my grow. The fan is a 6" (150mm) hi-powered, rated 725m3. It's pretty loud - I can hear it standing in the corridor as I approach the grow room through the door - but it's in my basement so noise is not an issue. It's not particularly heavy but is pretty bulky. It also means that my grow room temps don't get up over 82f even in the summer so it's great in that respect. I hope that helps, if you've got any more questions feel free to ask or pm me.

Core - cheers mate, running five strains is biting me in the arse a bit. Yesterday I had slightly overdone it on the waiting game and let the girls get a bit wilted. I've decided to start using some sort of chart or at least write down my schedule rather than trying to remember them in my head. Thanks for dropping in.
:joint:

Might get an update in later if I'm feeling in the mood. I've got plant biochem exam for part of my masters next week and I'm really feeling the stress. Also I've run dry (which is a good thing - I've stocked up a few mates with the remains of my stash - so I'm a bit straighter around exam time) but it's not helping with the stress levels. I'm figuring the break will do my tolerance levels a world of good though, just a matter of powering on through this week and next. Then I'll once again be footloose and fancy-free and hopefully only a couple of weeks away from harvest.

Sammet you are far from a newb Bro. I am needing a tolerance break too my man.
On writing down your schecule. I have been doing this from the begining and it has helped my forgetful ass. But sometimes I forget to write down what I have done and it might be a couple of days before I remember to update my notes. Did you get your problem straight with your plants? see ya round sammet.

Goodluck on the exams mate!, i've also found that when there is anything in my house i will smoke it! which is a :nono: when ya need to stay straight/sober :
Powering on it is then! K+ to ya for that, looking forward to harvest shots:lurk:
By the way; do your friends give ya smoke-reports? Just curious..

Little update of the veg tent and the two cheeses - I'll get some flower shots up soon.

Drock - cheers mate, the N def has pretty much gone but I overwatered and subsequently underwatered a couple of times so I've got a few yellow leaves at the bottom of the plants - no biggie though.

High - Ta - they don't even know their arses from their elbows when it comes to pot so they're just happy to have good stuff.

Jubbwa - I don't have an intake fan, just a big 8" hole at the bottom of the tent. It means I don't have any smell at all in my grow room as the tent is always under negative pressure. And they run 24/7 as this maintains my odour control. Ta for stopping in.

Hey sammet. What is the cheese all about man? I hear all this stuff about it. I am from the land of the kushes here in socal and we dont see cheese out here except on some girls thighs maybe. Seems like its the cut that represents the UK.

Hey Ryu :D didn't really like the last one, so I thought I'd spice it up a bit. If you look closely it's this Sweet Tooth pic.

BR  I've got to stop by your thread for a read mate it's been a while.

Hey Chubby - Yea it's definitely the uk's most popular at the moment - saying that I've never tried it, so I'm really grateful I managed to get my hands on a cut. Looks like it'll be a while before I get a sample though.

I know this question was not addressed to me, but I feel I can shed a bit of light on the situation.

The original UK cut of Cheese is a clone only strain. It is most likely a very stinky and very potent cut of an old Skunk strain. The odor of this pheno smelled a good deal like a block of cheese. This is where the name comes from. It is a very nice strain to smoke, with a nice sativa leaning hybrid effect. There certainly is a nice body to her, but the buzz is predominantly cerebral.

Big Buddha was able to get his hands on a cut of the UK Cheese. He took that cut and crossed it to an Afghani. He worked with the strain until he got the flavor, effects, and stability to where it was ready to hit the market. This version of Cheese still has that cheesy zing to its aroma, but there is a bit of a sweetness and a touch of hash in the aroma and flavor as well. There is also a bit more of a body buzz associated with the BB Cheese.

So there are two versions of Cheese floating around these days. They are similar, but do have their differences. In fact they are both quite good strains, but personally I would say the UK Cheese is the better of the 2. The flavor is a bit more unique, and the buzz is a bit more up beat.

I am surprised you have not come across this strain in SoCal. I can assure you it is making the rounds. I have had batches of both the UK and the Big Buddha Cheese. I hope this helps.

Thanks for the info man. Yeah i dont grab cuts to often unless they really peak my interest. I would grab a cut of cheese if it passes my way though for sure.

Cheers for clearing that up for Chubby, Smoking Gun  (and to you too Scrappy)

Here's day 38 Flower - I was in there about 20 minutes before the lights came in so here's some flash only shots - shows the yellow leaves properly so you can see they've been messed around a bit, but it's nothing to worry about. I think the overwatering has caused the most yellowing as they've had a good couple of N rich teas. If anyone wants to offer some advice, feel free!

the closest on the front right is the chem d - still a few yellow leaves around on her

Then behind her is the Williams Wonder

In the middle is the C4C99 - kind of hard to get a decent picture as she's right in the centre and I've had to use yo-yos to hold her up as she's pretty heavy-laden.

Then front left is the CH9 Flower

And behind that in the corner is the biggest girl, the BlackJack

I don't have time to get any proper photos up so unadulterated overexposed flash shots is it for the moment - I'm pretty busy/stressed out at the moment and it's really getting to me. I can't wait for this exam to be out of the way next week, even though I think I'm going to fail it pretty badly, it'll just be a relief to not have something constantly on my mind. Laters.
